Tuyom is sea urchin in bisaya. I encountered one while I was out in the beach during one of my breaks. There was something about them that looked terrifying yet inviting. So, I personified it, wondering how it feels.

When creating these types of works, I usually just get information that I have been consuming like for this I believe I was inspired from God of War: Ragnorok. I also played around with the brushes to get certain effects and feelings. (If you’re looking for brushes, I recommend Mathias Zamecki’s brushes).
