A Word from JW

We are excited for Drew and Morgan’s new adventure in Thedford. The cattle business is facing new challenges every day and to have the opportunity to partner with the younger generation encourages me to charge on. I look forward to progressing our breeding decisions together, and to use our foundation of Sandhills cattle to continue to bring our customers genetics that thrive in today’s demands. Our commitment will always be built on our goals of balanced structure, strong maternal traits, and excellent dispositions within our offering. Most importantly, we are excited to be in the people business with our customers.

A Word from Drew

A plan in the making for Neri, J.W. and I for over a year is finally here. We are thrilled to enter 2023 with a year under our belts after taking over the Barstow Angus cowherd. A tough year for any cowboy, however, the cowherd proved to be resilient. Morgan and I are very grateful for what we learned, and for the opportunity to get to work so closely with great breeders like J.W. and Neri. Sandhills Source is a dream team for Angus genetics, a combination of two premier cowherds that have proven to be successful within our environment; and youth that are excited to be involved in the cattle business for years to come.
