ANNOUNCEMENTS Announcements made sale day take precedence over the sale book.
LIABILITY The Shaver family assumes no liability for accidents or injuries. All persons attending do so at their own risk.
GUARANTEE All bulls will receive a first breeding season guarantee. A breeding season is defined as 90 days from the bull turnout date. If a bull is found to be infertile at any point during the first breeding season a replacement will be provided, if available, or a sale credit less $1,950 (salvage value).
FERTILITY Scrotal measurements will be available sale day and on our website and Facebook page prior to the sale.
TERMS Terms of the sale are cash or check. Cattle will sell according to the terms and conditions of the American Angus Association.
HEALTH All cattle will be accompanied by proper health certificates for immediate shipment. The bulls have been on a complete vaccination and mineral program. The bulls in the sale will have passed a breeding soundness exam prior to the sale.
BULL DEVELOPMENT Bulls have been developed with the commercial cattlemen in mind. Bulls are developed to show genetic potential without sacrificing longevity.
SEMEN INTEREST Shaver Angus will retain 1/3 semen interest in all bulls selling. The buyer will receive 100% possession and full salvage value.

This year marks 20 years since we purchased our first registered cows as a FFA project. We would like to thank our past customers for their continued support. Repeat customers and referrals have made 20 years possible, thank you.
Our program is focused on breeding balanced trait cattle that are functional, with plenty of muscle and capacity to perform in any environment. We expect our cows to be easy fleshing, breed back early, wean a big calf, and be problem free with good foot and udder quality. Cows that do not meet that criteria, do not stay in our herd. The sires used in this offering excel for performance, foot quality, hair shedding, and are backed by a tremendous producing cow. As you look through the bulls, you will find consistency of phenotype that produce steer calves that will perform well and heifers that will make excellent replacements.
If you are unable to attend the sale, you can watch and bid on LiveAuctions.TV. All the bulls will have videos available for preview on LiveAuctions website starting three weeks prior to the sale. Follow us on Facebook for a link to the videos as well. To bid online, all you need to do is sign up prior to sale day, and with high speed internet you can bid in real time. We welcome anyone to the farm to view the bulls prior to the sale. The bulls will be available for viewing at Cold Creek Cowboy Church the day before the sale, October 18th.

Black Label is a bull we raised and retained as a herd sire. He comes from a tremendous cow family as his dam is a maternal sister to Bubs Southern Charm, a past breed leader for registrations. He offers a sleep all night calving ease with explosive growth in a dense package. His first daughters have calved and have excellent udders. His sons were extremely popular in our sale last year.
