You don't have to be technical for a job in Cyber but here's some things you should have a basic understanding of....

#1. Learn the basics of IT systems and networks,. The different types of networks available and their protocols. Once familiar with the fundamentals, you can delve into the basics of networking traffic, security, and communication principles.

Certifications

Certifications are a way to showcase your knowledge, however hands-on experience and personal projects are also so important.

A good employer would sponsor certifications for you, but there are a number of great entry level certs such as Network+ and Security+ which can show your commitment to joining the industry
