Farmers in Trenton have given back to their community in many ways. Many of our local farmers here are able to sell their fresh products straight to the people in our community. Our local farmers give us things like pork, beef, eggs and many other products at a cheaper price than in stores and a better quality.
Our local farmers put a lot of time, effort and love into the animals that they are raising and all of that effort is then shown in the products that they are giving. As someone in our community who has raised hogs and cattle, it is rewarding to see the excitement of a customer finding a local business to support. In Trenton, our local Mercantile has even started to sell local farm fresh food making it easier to access.
Thank you to all of the local farmers, businesses, and customers that make it possible for younger people like myself to understand the importance of our local community and all of the effort that is put in.
