I have dreaded this moment since I heard that I was in the running. Not because I didn’t want it, but because I know that I suck at talking in front of people. I even considered trying to get worse grades so I wouldn’t have to come up here and talk.
But now, I am still scared, but I see it as a blessing. I’m glad that I get to represent my class in the highest of honors. We haven’t been the best class. We’ve made some teachers quit. CONGRATULATIONS!
