North Central Missouri, College Talent Search students, participated in a drone workshop led by NCMC Industrial Technology Instructor Rick Sharp at the NCMC Savannah Campus. During the workshop, Talent Search middle school students ages 6-8th grade spent four days learning about, programming, and flying drones, including commercial model drones.

This season we have 14 girls out for the 2024 softball season. There are five returning and seven incoming players. We will have one senior, Adysan Rain, who will be our number one pitcher. She was selected All Conference, All District pitcher last season. I look for Adysan to come out strong this season in the circle and find her rhythm. Kinsley Allnutt, Junior will be our number two pitcher. She was also named an All District, All Conference and All Region player last season. Kinleys pitched some for us last year but look to see her getting more time in the circle this season.
We have returning players like Remington Miller, Leesah Fordyce, Trinity Fairley and Tasha Thrasher in key positions but also new players that will need to step into roles on the field.
This season for us, we have created some foundation team goals that will allow us to do the little things correctly on the field. This is going to be a year of learning and just showing up to compete in each contest. I am looking forward to this season.
