In the early hours of morning, Lanet feels suspended between becoming and being. The roads are still dusty, yet alive. The air carries an exhale from December’s motion. New homes rise beside banana trees and hedges, their concrete forms softened by birdsong and wide skies. Earth and promise linger in the air - unrushed, unforced, quietly present
If you have found yourself here, it is not by accident. Some places do not announce themselves loudly. They reveal their meaning slowly, through presence, through people, through the work that continues even when no one is watching Welcome to Lanet Chronicles.

“Opportunities often appear quietly the ones who notice them first, shape the world.”

A MORNING WALK THROUGH LANET A MORNING WALK THROUGH LANET

Between Baraka and Urith, movement slows. A wheelbarrow rests in the shade, workers pause, and unfinished walls wait under a forgiving sun In these unplanned, quiet moments, the land speaks and the people shaping it quietly come into view
On site Peter, reminds us that every home begins long before the first shovel touches the earth. As an idea that flows through careful planning and design. On site, nothing is hurried Stones are set, pillars rise, and concrete is poured with patience, gaining strength in its own time. In Lanet, stone homes endure, a testament to per, manence and care, while wooden homes follow a different rhythm. Building well, Peter shows, is not just about materials it is about patience, presence, and honoring the land.

Today, AMT operates from Nairobi and Mombasa, offering curated motorcycle experiences for riders from around the world, and is expanding into Lanet, Nakuru bringing adventure tourism deeper into Kenya’s heartland Every ride becomes a moment of presence, a chance to experience the land and its stories consciously.

Nancy’s calling emerged in stillness through dreams and instructions that felt unmistakably divine.
She did not begin with a plan, funding, or institutional backing What she had was a conviction shaped by faith and an instruction she could not ignore Leaving her livelihood in Nairobi, she moved to Nakuru ;uncertain of provision, yet fully committed to obedience
On 12th December 2008, seven vulnerable children crossed her path at an AIC church Faced with the weight of care she did not yet know how to provide, she heard a clear assurance: “Nancy, nyungu yao haitawai kauka ” Last year,on 12 December they celebrated 17 anniversary. th (Their care will not fail )
What followed was sudden abundance: food arrived, water tanks were installed, and clothing, shelter, and support came quietly through visits, calls, and acts of generosity
From those first seven children, the home has grown to support over 78 (seventy-eight), some abandoned, some rescued from crisis, some only hours old Over the years, it has moved through three locations and currently operates on leased land Today, six former residents have completed college, carrying the light of hope forward, while others have successfully integrated into society The work continues daily: meals prepared, lessons taught, wounds tended, discipline given, and hope nurtured delivered without spectacle, yet leaving a lasting impact.
Seventeen years on, Israel Faith Children’s Home stands as a living reminder that true impact often begins in the unknown. It starts with faith, a small step, and the courage to act without seeing the full path You never know how beautiful your story will unfold
All are welcome to walk alongside this work through partnership, support, and shared responsibility with the hopeful vision of one day owning the two-acre property where the home can continue to grow and shine its light.

True artistry often acts as a mirror to the awakening mind. Step inside Stanley’s studio in Lanet, Kamfam, and you immediately feel it: focus, patience, and quiet mastery. Self-taught, Stanely Kemboi, now known as Stan Music Media, learned by listening: to instruments, to artists, to repetition itself Skill came before scale, and passion before profit.
“I’ve been drawn to music since class three,” Stanley shares. “The first time I went to a studio with my mom, I watched the producer at work and thought, this is what I want to do one day.” He honed his craft on the ground, learning through YouTube tutorials, mentorship from friends, and relentless practice
“Passion comes first, then skill; always keep learning, always keep giving back.”
Today, Stan Music Media offers music production, videography, photography, drone services, and live streaming. Yet beyond the technical skill lies something harder to quantify.
“Talent grows when it’s nurtured my vision is to open doors for those who dream ”

Young creatives step into Stanley’s space and leave seeing possibilities differently, inspired to pursue their passions with courage and discipline.
“It’s not about the studio or the equipment,” he says, “it’s about love for what I do and supporting those who are starting out.” His quiet dedication lights the way for others, nurturing talent, inspiring courage, and leaving a lasting impact.
A reminder that when we create with heart and share with love, possibilities unfold, and communities rise.

Eventually, I step away. The sounds soften behind me, folding back into the larger quiet of the morning. The sun has risen higher now. Warmth settles into the land. Further along the path, a wide-rooted tree stands, unbothered by time. I stop beneath it, letting the moment arrive fully. Here, the walk ends - not because there is nowhere else to go but because something has been received.
