Why do we need a sense of urgency? -By Harvey Mackay The founder of a highly successful company was asked what it took to succeed.

He answered: “The same thing it took to get started; a sense of urgency about getting things done.”

The people who make things happen share the same sense of urgency. Ask any entrepreneur to list the keys to getting their company off the ground, and urgency will be among the traits listed.

No matter how intelligent or able you may be, if you don’t have a sense of urgency you better start developing it now. The world is full of competent people who honestly intend to do things

tomorrow; however, tomorrow seldom comes for them. Many individuals with less talent are more successful because they understand the importance of urgency. In other words, get started now.

The downfall for many people and companies is that once they are successful, complacency sets in. They are comfortable and satisfied with the status quo. Complacency is the enemy of urgency. Things don’t happen by sitting back. Things don’t happen by watching and waiting for others.

John Kotter, Harvard Business School professor and author of “A Sense of Urgency,” says that keeping up urgency is a challenge because leaders must create it over and over. It must be embedded in your culture. Companies are vulnerable for complacency to set in.

He advises that the key for leaders in maintaining a sense of urgency is “to value the capacity to appreciate unexpected opportunities. This focus results in work that is highly leveraged, meaningful work, a culture that is satisfying to heart and mind, and an organization that continues to succeed in a changing world.”

So the challenge shifts to keeping employees motivated and determined to succeed.

According to Gallup’s “State of the American Workplace Report,” published in 2013, only 30 percent of employees

are actively committed to doing a good job. These are your engaged employees who have passion and a profound connection for their company.

Unfortunately 50 percent of employees only put in their time and are essentially “checked out.” The remaining 20 percent are actively disengaged employees who are counterproductive and negatively influence others.

Another problem is false urgency, where you have a lot of activity without productive results. John Kotter explains: “False urgency is rooted in anger and anxiety … This anger creates conflict, battles and a lot of meetings. It is often created by pressure from above, with actions that are not aimed at the root cause or real solutions.”

True urgency is focused on accomplishing something important each day. Urgency is not driven by fear, but rather by a deep determination.

Bill Gates, the founder of Microsoft, talked about urgency in his book, “The Road Ahead.” He said the secret to Microsoft’s success was that employees always thought of themselves on the losing side, which made them strive to be number one. That attitude created a sense of urgency which made them work hard to flourish in the highly competitive IT industry.

“The Good Old Days” -By Tom Kuehne Ailments

Conversations of mature individuals invariably involve our medical issues.

We discuss our aches and pains, tests and procedures and usually somewhere in the conversation we find ourselves talking about cancer, heart trouble and diabetes and whether there will be a cure for them soon. We no longer discuss the diseases which were of great concern when we were young.

One disease that was a great concern for all of us was polio. I’m sure that everyone can remember someone who was a victim of that terrible disease.

Those that were not kept alive with an “iron lung” frequently carried a limp with them for life. President Roosevelt had both legs damaged by polio and spent many years of his life in a wheel chair. He needed steel braces on his legs to enable him to stand to give a speech.

Dr. Salk discovered a vaccine and in a few years polio was virtually eliminated.

Another disease that was common in the past was undulant fever. Many of us from a farm background were exposed to the disease. It was discovered that an antibiotic would relieve the fever, weakness, sore joints and muscles.

About the same time it was discovered that the disease in humans was actually bangs disease and primarily came from drinking unpasteurized milk. To eliminate the disease in humans, the government tested all dairy animals and any that showed positive for bangs disease had to be eliminated.

Pasteurizing milk and eliminating disease infected cows solved a serious problem for humans.

Lumbago was a common ailment in past years. Anyone that had a pain in the back called it lumbago. Today pain in the back still exists, but now it is a slipped disk, pinched nerve, pulled muscle or an arthritic condition. We have a multitude of doctors and clinics to solve the problem and relieve the pain. In extreme cases a back operation is prescribed, a procedure not part of medicine that was practiced years ago.

When we were in school there were times when a disease like mumps, measles, chicken pox, colds or the flu reduced the class sizes until everyone got well and could again attend school.

These occurrences were very common.

The local weekly newspaper may run an article entitled, “42% of the first three grades in the local school were unable to attend school last week due to illness.”

The following week it may say “class attendance is back up to 90%.”

Recently we have heard reports of about 60 cases of measles in Minnesota.

This was so significant that it was reported over a two week period in almost every newspaper and every newscast. Many of us mature citizens had measles and survived. If numbers had previously been kept regarding those that had measles in past years, it would have been a whole lot more than 60 and probably would not have been on the news. I guess when it is thought a disease has been eliminated, it’s reappearance is a news worthy event.

Medicine has made great advances in our lifetime. Our life expectancy has been increased. One satisfying factor is that we no longer hear of someone dying of “old age,” which was very common in years past.

environment, if you don’t move fast, you get run over. Without a sense of urgency, people and businesses just can’t move fast enough. But this is not a new concept.

Centuries ago, Leonardo da Vinci said, “I have been impressed with the urgency of doing. Knowing is not enough; we must apply. Being willing is not enough; we must do.”

Legendary pro football coach Vince Lombardi demonstrated a tremendous sense of urgency when he took the helm of the Green Bay Packers. They had a miserable 1-10-1 record in 1958, and at training camp in 1959, he had some stern words for them.

Lombardi said: “Gentlemen, we are going to have a great football team.

We are going to win games. Get that?

You are going to learn to block, run and tackle. You are going to outplay all the teams that come up against you. Get that?”

And then he explained his sense of urgency: “You are to have confidence in me and enthusiasm for my system.

Hereafter, I want you to think of only three things: your home, your religion, and the Green Bay Packers, in that order! Let enthusiasm take hold of you, beginning now!”

Virtually the same players as the year before went on to win seven games

that year, a division title the next year, and a NFL championship the third year.

The renewed passion for the game, fueled by their new-found urgency, produced astounding results.

Obituaries Allen J. Eisenschenk Allen J. Eisenschenk, age 78 of Albany, died peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday, November 6, 2017 at his home in Albany Township, Stearns County, Minnesota.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m.

Saturday, November 11 at the Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Albany with Rev. Julius Beckerman, O.S.B. officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Seven Dolors Gathering Area in Albany.

Parish prayers will be held at 4 p.m. Friday evening at the gathering area.

Allen Joseph Eisenschenk was born March 6, 1939 in Melrose, Minnesota to Anthony and Irene (Evans) Eisenschenk. He grew up on a farm in St. Joseph and worked construction for several years. On September 25, 1963 he was united in marriage to Mary Messer at St. Alexius Catholic Church in West Union. Allen farmed dairy and beef cattle near Albany. He owned and operated Eisenschenk Farms where he trucked and hauled hay. Allen was a member of Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Albany. He was a hard-working man who loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Allen also enjoyed cutting wood and using his sawmill, and dancing to Polka music with his girls.

Survivors include his daughters, Jane (James) Melby of St. Cloud, Janice (Tim) Tomsche of Albany, Cindy (Dean) Tomsche of Albany, and Kathy (Dennis) Gerads of Freeport; 12 grandchildren and

A Memorial Service was held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at the Wenner Funeral Home in Richmond, MN for Claude Reimche, age 79, who died Friday at the St. Cloud Hospital surrounded by his family. Inurnment was in the Sts. Peter & Paul Parish Cemetery, Richmond, MN. Claude was born on November 19, 1937 in Lodi, CA to Emil and Evelyn (Sandness) Reimche. He graduated from Lodi Union High School in 1955. He married his best friend, Carol Breth on August 4, 1984 in Las Vegas, NV

Armella M. Bueckers The Mass of Christian Burial, honoring the life of Armella M. Bueckers, age 95 of Albany, was held Wednesday, November 8 at the Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Albany. Burial was in the parish cemetery. Armella died Friday, surrounded by her family and friends at the Mother of Mercy Campus of Care in Albany. Arrangements were made by the Miller-Carlin Funeral Homes.

Armella was born March 12, 1922 in Zion Township to Ludwig and Bertha (Miller) Roehrl. She grew up in Melrose and married Herman Bueckers on November 23, 1943 in the St. Boniface Catholic Church in Melrose.

The couple farmed near Freeport until 1957 when they moved into Albany. Armella had a 29 year career as a Certified Dietician with the Mother of Mercy Campus of Care. She retired in 1992 at the age of 70. From her time working and the one year she lived at Mother-

M i l d r e d Dempsey, 92, of Long Prairie, passed away on November 2, 2017.

Funeral services for Mildred will be held on Thursday, November 9, 2017, 11:00 a.m., at the American Lutheran Church in Long Prairie, with Pastor Bill Bakewicz officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be held at Evergreen Cemetery, Long Prairie.

Mildred was born February 22, 1925, in Burnhamville Township, Todd County, to Awald & Wilhelmena (Denien) Steuck. She

and lived in Yucaipa, CA until 2016. They then moved to Richmond, MN to be near family and friends. Claude worked in the retread research and development and tire business from 1956 until his retirement in 1999 with a short stint driving for Joe’s Trucking in Albany, MN. He enjoyed fishing, camping, remodeling, custom car building and racing. Claude was part owner in Kal-Cart go-cart racing in Stockton, CA where he built and raced go-carts. He held the go-cart track racing record in 1968 at Riverside, CA. Claude especially enjoyed time spent with family and friends. His upbeat and positive attitude will forever be remembered.

Survivors include his wife, Carol; daughter, Robin (Ron) Walton and their daughter, Taylor Walton of Madera, CA; sister, Jeanne Nutter of Concord, CA; and many inlaws and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers-in-law, Neil Nutter and David Breth.

In 1965 they bought a bar in Alexandria and ran it for seven years. Mildred enjoyed decorating cakes, sewing, cooking, gardening and watching the birds. Mildred was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.

Mildred is survived by her children: Michael (Kathy) Dempsey, Thomas (Jill) Dempsey, John (Lisa) Dempsey; grandchildren: Jenny, Derek and Evan and brother Wally Steuck.

Wallace “Wally” Jacobson Service to honor the life of Wallace A. Jacobson, age 94 of Avon, was held Monday, November 6, at the Miller-Carlin Funeral Home in Holdingford.

Burial was in the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls.

Wally was born February 18,1923 in Minneapolis to Alfred and Ann (Johnson) Jacobson. He grew up in Minneapolis and graduated from North High School where he was a gymnast and his team went to state his senior year. He was a WWII veteran,

Violet Louise Pintok

The Mass of Christian Burial, celebrating the life of Violet Louise (Stodolka) Pintok, age 90 of Opole, was held Wednesday, November 8 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Opole. Burial was in the parish cemetery. Violet

died Saturday, Nov. 4.

Violet was born January 17, 1927 to Michael and Pauline (Klosowski) Stodolka on the family farm south of Bowlus. She was the eighth of twelve children and graduated from Holdingford Public School. Violet was joined in marriage to Edward Pintok June 10, 1947 at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church in Bowlus. They celebrated 70 years of inseparable life together, raising 5 boys and 5 girls on their family farm northwest of Opole. Violet was a devoted mother to her ten children, nineteen grandchildren, and twenty-one great grandchildren. She

serving in the U.S. Navy from 1942 until his honorable discharge in 1945. Wally married Eleanor Stegura on October 17, 1944 in Minneapolis. The two lived in Minneapolis until 1981 when they retired and moved to the Avon area. He worked as a tree trimmer for NSP for over 28 years. Wally was a proud member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) 160. Wally enjoyed living at the lake with his neighbors; he loved tending his gardens and his refrigerator was always covered with family pictures.

Wally is survived by his children; Geraldine (Jeff) Venderheuvel, Pierz; Ronald (Faye) Jacobson, Rogers; Christine (Steve Robinson) Wallace, Eagan; William (Nancy Thill) Jacobson, New Hope; and Carol (Butch) Voss, Avon; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Wally is preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Eleanor on April 29, 2007.

She was especially known to all for her distinctly Polish coffee cake.

A gathering of relatives and friends will be from 4:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m., Friday, November 10, 2017 at the Wenner Funeral Home in Richmond. Visitation will continue from 9:00-10:00 a.m. Saturday morning at the funeral home.

Char was born in St. Cloud, MN to Frank and Nancy (Shoultz) Kostreba. She grew up in Paynesville, MN, graduating from Paynesville High School. Char was a very spiritual person and attended Crystal Hills Church. She married Mike Peltz on September 27, 1997 in St. Agnes Catholic

Cloud. He was an estimator and sales clerk at Lumber One, Avon for many years, and also was a reserve Avon police officer. After being a boy scout throughout his childhood, he then became an assistant scout leader. Tom walked strongly in his faith and was a member of St. Benedict’s Catholic Church. He also loved deer hunting, music, and dancing. Tom was a dedicated father and grandfather, and especially cherished his time with his granddaughters. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Tom is survived by his; children, Chad (Melissa) Thielman of St. Cloud, and Tara (Paul) Kardong of St. Cloud; granddaughters, Bailey, MacKenzie, and Reagan Thielman; parents, Howard and Colleen Thielman of St. Cloud siblings; Cathleen (Lonnie) Blair of Buffalo, Maren (Jeff) Biegert of Plymouth, Peggy Thielman of St. Cloud, and Paul Thielman of Minnetonka.

She worked as a caregiver and housekeeper at numerous health care facilities. Her greatest joys were singing, music, praising the Lord, saving helpless animals, and especially caring for her husband and children. She had a passion for art, decorating, painting and organizing. Her friends and family were very important to her. She will forever be remembered for her positive attitude, strong faith and her compassion.

Survivors include her husband, Mike; mother, Nancy; children, Travis (Shaun Ohl) Schmidt, Samantha, Shannin and Davis Peltz; siblings, Sheila (Michael) Kascht, Shay Kostreba, Cody Kostreba; aunt, Caroline Kostreba; siblings-in-law, Dianne (Ronald) Schmitz, Donna (Marty) Stone, Barb Peltz and Marilyn (Harvey) Lieser; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Dr. Alayna’s focus is on biomechanical analysis and functional movement. “I use a technique called Gua Sha, a healing technique of traditional East Asian medicine.

With every treatment, I provide soft tissue release. I can either perform that manually or with the assistance of tools,” she said.

The first tool that Dr. Alayna works with is, “cupping,” a suction cup that acts as a vacuum to the skin that she moves back and forth on the affected area. It breaks up little adhesions that lie under the skin and above the fascia. It also causes your blood vessels to expand and increases blood flow to the areas treated. It frees up the area that was restricted due to presence of scar tissue or loss of normal elasticity of tissue.

Time ends with an interview. Each of us will stand before God one day and have an opportunity to review our record with Him. What will matter most is whether or not there will be a day when we surrendered our life to Him.

-Deb Dear Deb, The first thing I’d suggest is the same advice I give to married couples, and that is to spend less than you make, and live on a written, monthly budget. Sit down at the end of each month and write down — on paper — all your expenses and income for the upcoming month.

Give every dollar a job, then spend everything on paper before the month begins.

When you think about it, budgeting isn’t that difficult. All it takes is a little time and a few basic math skills. Some expenses, like your mortgage payment or rent, will be the same. If you have a car payment, it should remain constant, as well. Things like utilities and groceries may fluctuate a little based on the time of year, but you can formulate pretty accurate estimates by looking at past months.

Another thing I would recommend is finding a mature, trustworthy friend or family member to act as an accountability partner. This person should also be good with money, and your relationship should be strong enough that they’re not afraid to call you out if you start behaving irresponsibly with your cash.

Sit down, just the two of you, once a

month and talk about your finances. You can even go over your income and budget line by line if it helps. The point in this scenario is to get support from someone who cares about you, and is willing to be there – and help hold you accountable – for the financial decisions you’re making.

Many in attendance were very surprised that they might win their legal action, yet not succeed.

USA Community Chorus to Honor WWII Veterans on Veterans Day

Three of the five remaining veterans from WWII in the Swanville/Upsala area are expected to be on hand when the USA Community Chorus honors them for their service at the Chorus’ 16th Veterans Day show. The program, which will feature the stories of the three veterans’ service and dispatches related to their service written by the late, great war correspondent Ernie Pyle, will be on Saturday, November 11 at 7:30 p.m. in the Swanville School Auditorium.

Honored for their service will be Troy Scatterella USN, who served as a ship’s cook, Harold “Bud” Biskey USA, who fought in the Rhineland of Germany and was awarded a Bronze Star for his actions in addition to a Purple Heart for wounds he suffered in that conflict and Kenneth Stevens USMC, who spent 33 days on Iwo Jima carrying a Browning Automatic Rifle (BAR).

By Manuel Ybarra, Jr. Fear of God has almost disappeared in America. Time, is the new god to many. To unbelievers, it is time which gets the credit for everything God Almighty created. They are totally ignorant of God and His Eternal Word.

Fiction has displaced reality in the name of science. We hear a meteorologist say “we are scientist, we know!” Or we see a bearded prospector on TV, look at his find and say, “this is so and so million years old.” Then, there were the two scientist who claimed they discovered the “The First Fossil,” an object which they claimed is about 300 miles long in the center of the Earth.

But did scientists asked where all the matter to cover the fossil came from, to form the rest of the earth, which is almost, 8,000 miles in diameter? Doubt it! In their minds they do believe this earth was formed by layers and layers of rock and they have assigned a certain age to some layers.

By Pat Scherf, Area Supervisor, Catholic Charities Central Minnesota Foster Grandparent Program Our purpose for this letter is to offer important information to your community members about the health benefits that are associated with volunteer activities, especially for those who are over 50!

According the Corporation for National and Community Service, a national study has shown that volunteers who are 50 and older live longer than same age non-volunteers. Another recent study of Americans over age 60 found that those who volunteer reported lower disability levels and higher levels of well-being compared to those who do not volunteer Volunteering may be particularly helpful for older Americans undergoing a life stress (i.e. moving, death of a spouse) or for those who are at risk for being isolated. One study found that bereaved individuals who engaged in volunteering activities to help others experienced a shorter course of depression than those who did not volunteer.

There is evidence that the health benefits of volunteering are due to increased physical, social, and mental activity that are a result of volunteering. In addition, there is evidence that the health benefits of volunteering are strongest among rural retirees, and those who do not drive or are limited drivers.

The research findings are that volunteers not only help their community but also experience better health in their later years, enjoying greater levels of well-being, low-

Snow blower safety tips: Keep best practices in mind this winter

With winter snows arriving, homeowners, contractors, and business owners will again rely on their snow blowers to clear driveways and walks. The Outdoor Power Equipment Institute (OPEI) is offering tips for safe and correct use of snow blowers.

“Your indispensable winter friend, the snow blower is ready to be powered up and it’s important to keep safety in mind,” says OPEI President and CEO Kris Kiser. “Be sure to prepare and consider the following tips before you use your equipment: Prepare before it snows: Review your owner’s manual and check your equipment.

Check your owner’s manual for safe handling procedures from your manufacturer. If you forgot to drain the fuel last winter before storing your snow blower, drain the tank now.

Adjust any cables. Check the auger (the snow blower should always be completely powered off when you are checking the equipment).

Know how to operate the controls. You should be able to shut off your equipment quickly.

Prepare your fuel and handle it properly.

It’s important to have the right fuel on hand for your snow blower – movement and fuel availability may be limited during a snowstorm. Be sure to use the correct fuel, as recommended by your equipment’s manufacturer (for more information on fueling properly see www.LookBeforeYouPump.com). Fill up the fuel tank outside before you start the engine and while the engine is cold. Never add fuel to a running or hot engine.

Be sure to clean the area you intend to clear with your equipment. Snow can sometimes hide objects that if run over by a snow blower, may harm the machine or people.

Doormats, hoses, balls, toys, boards, wires, and other debris should be removed from the areas you intend to clear.

Dress appropriately. Wear safety glasses

and footwear that can handle slippery surfaces.

Operate your equipment safely • Keep Safety tip: Never put your hands inside the auger or chute. Use a clean out tool (or stick) to unclog snow or debris from your snow blower. Your hands should never go inside the auger or chute. Make sure the snow blower is in the off position before addressing any clogs.

• Turn off your snow blower if you need to clear a clog. If you need to remove debris or unclog snow, always turn off your snow blower. Wait for all moving parts to come to a complete stop before clearing any clogs or debris.

• Only use your snow blower in visible conditions. Never operate the snow blower without good visibility or light.

• Aim your snow blower with care. Never throw snow toward people or cars. Do not allow anyone to stand in front of your snow blower. Keep children or pets away from your snow blower when it is operating.

• Use extreme caution on slopes and hills.

Use caution when changing directions on slopes. Do not attempt to clear steep slopes.

• Know where your cord is. If you have an electric powered snow blower, be aware of where the power cord is at all times. Avoid tripping. Do not run over the power cord.

Three women murdered in Minnesota over 5 days 18 people killed due to domestic violence in 2017 As the nation turns its eyes to the domestic violence related mass shooting in a Texas church, Minnesota turns its attention to three women who have been killed due to domestic violence in less than a week. The identity of Martina Lopez Garcia, a victim of murder-suicide in south Minneapolis was released Monday. Another woman was victim to murder-suicide in northeast Minneapolis on Sunday, and a Shakopee woman was murdered by her boyfriend on Monday morning.

“We are navigating so much grief due to domestic violence,” said Liz Richards, executive director of the Minnesota Coalition for Battered Women. “Minnesota has lost 18 of our friends, neighbors and coworkers so far this year due to domestic violence.”

On November 2, Homero Lopez Salinas, 35, fatally shot his ex-girlfriend Martina Lopez Garcia, also 35, at her south Minneapolis apartment. Salinas subsequently committed suicide. Two acquaintances of Salinas and Garcia found the bodies and called the police. The medical examiner stated Garcia died from multiple gunshot wounds to the head. Salinas had previously been arrested for domestic assault in 2005.

“There are no simple solutions to ending domestic violence,” Richards said. “It is a complex issue that calls for complex solutions. We need individuals to take action.

We need communities to take action. We need institutions to take action.”

This week, participants in the Minnesota Coalition for Battered Women’s ‘Live Free Without Violence’ public awareness campaign will display flags, yard signs and post on social media to honor the life of

Martina Lopez Garcia. In the coming weeks, participants will memorialize the victim of murder-suicide in northeast Minneapolis and the Shakopee woman murdered by her boyfriend.

“We hope that in the weeks and months to come, people will engage in complicated discussions about domestic violence,” said Richards. “These conversations can range from how we engage our family and friends who display abusive behavior to discussions that can result in concrete policy change.”

November 3, 2017: At 08:01 A one vehicle accident rollover that occurred on 210th St. East of 243rd Ave. in Long Prairie TWP. 16 year old Brianna Graves, rural Long Prairie, was traveling westbound on 210th St. when she lost control of a 2006 Chevrolet Malibu. The car left the road on the right side and rolled. The female driver and her 16 year old passenger, Derek Dempsey, rural Long Prairie, were transported by the Long Prairie Ambulance to the hospital to get treated for their injuries. The car was a total loss. Long Prairie Ambulance, Long Prairie Fire & Rescue, and the Long Prairie Police Department assisted at the scene.

November 4, 2017: At 16:13 report of a theft of a boat and motor by Robert Holper at the address of 30376 130th St. in Grey Eagle Township. The boat is a silver 1969 Mirrocraft and it has a 1992 Johnson 15 hp outboard motor on it. The boat and motor were taken sometime between October 15th and November 4th. November 5, 2017: At 09:19 Jo Pitcher from Grey Eagle was backing out of a driveway at 521 State Street East with a 2007 Chevy Impala and hit a telephone junction box. No telephone services were disrupted in the accident.

November 6, 2017: At 11:24 report of a theft that occurred at the address of 208 State St. West in the city of Grey Eagle.

Dana Vanwagner, Little Falls, reports that between the dates of 11-04-2017 at 2230 hour and 11-06-2017 at 1124 hours, a window unit air conditioner was taken from the residence. November 6, 2017: At 18:49 Mark Dziengel of rural Grey Eagle was traveling on 335th Avenue near the intersection of Ascot Road in Grey Eagle Township when he struck a deer with his 1999 Chevrolet Silverado. There were no injuries and no damage was done to the vehicle. The vehicle was driven from the scene.
