Finding work-life balance -By Harvey Mackay Two friends were talking about their aspirations. Both had spent several years at the same company, enjoyed the work and the culture, and made advancements in their careers.

One friend was surprised to hear that the other had recently turned down a big promotion. He asked, “Are you sure you made the right decision? A move like that could’ve put you on easy street. Those opportunities don’t come around often.”

“Most people would agree with you,” the friend replied. “But I have a different take on the matter. I believe there is more to life than having a fancy title or big paycheck.

“There’s a price to be paid for that corner office. Long hours, a lot of travel and expectations that would require sacrifices I’m not willing to make,” he said. “The truth of the matter is that I

already have my dream job. The money is good, the work is fulfilling and the work/life balance allows me to always be home in time for dinner. I’ve never missed one of my son’s baseball games, and I’ve never left work at the end of the day mentally drained.”

“I never thought of it in those terms,” the first friend answered.

His friend continued, “Most of us spend so much time chasing after success that we don’t recognize what we already have is more than enough.”

Some of you reading this story will wonder if the friend is absolutely brilliant, totally lacking ambition, or just giving in to the pressures of life.

I would say none of the above! This person has figured out better than most how to set priorities. Instead of living for work, she understands the concept of working to live.

It’s a trend that will not go out of style any time soon. Studies show that Gen Xers and Millennials are looking for work-life balance as they begin their careers or search for new opportunities.

Ryan Jenkins, author of “The Millennial Manual: The Complete How-To Guide to Manage, Develop,

and Engage Millennials at Work,” identifies work-life balance as one of 47 strategies central to working with the next generations of workers. He explains why: • It defines success. Millennials don’t view climbing the corporate ladder or owning tangible items (job title, house, salary, car, etc.) as success.

Instead, success is having control over how and when they work and accumulating various life experiences, which are enabled by a better work-life balance.

• They’re always on. Millennials are the first generation to enter the workforce with access to technology that enables them to seamlessly work remotely, and are eager to capitalize on technological capabilities to create more flexibility and balance.

• They’re moving up. Nearly onethird of Millennials say that managing their work, family and personal responsibilities has become more difficult in the past five years. “The Good Old Days” -By Tom Kuehne Oxcarts In the middle of the 1800’s there was a lucrative trading center located in what is today known as Pembina.

P e m b i n a is located geographically near the junction of North Dakota, Minnesota and Canada.

Their main trading items were buffalo hides, pelts and furs.

There was a great demand for these items in America’s larger cities and also in many European countries. The goods needed to get from the remote area around Pembina to a ship for transportation to the rest of the world.

There were no railroads, so the only way to move these items was by boat.

St. Paul was the nearest shipping location with sufficient water depth to allow ship and barge traffic. The goods had to get to St. Paul, so an overland route was created along with machines to move the goods overland.

An oxcart was invented. It was made of wood, fastened together with pegs. The wheels were at least 5 foot in diameter and the outside rims were up to 6 inches in diameter. They were about 4 foot wide and 6 feet long. Rails were extended on the front of the cart to hitch either one or two oxen to pull the cart.

A trail was established along the east side of the Red River to approximately the present location of Moorhead, Minnesota. From there the oxcart trail

went in a Southeasterly direction to the Sauk River and then to the Mississippi River. The Mississippi was crossed somewhere in the Sauk Rapids area and then traveled the east side of the river to St. Paul. The trail went across a large portion of Stearns County.

Many oxcarts used the same trail, which resulted in groves worn into the ground, which actually improved the trail’s capacity. After the groves were worn, the oxen were accustomed to staying on the same trail and keeping the wheels in the ruts worn into the dirt. This allowed the driver alone could move 4 to 5 oxcarts, which greatly improved his efficiency. Since the carts only moved 12 to 18 miles per day, moving more than one cart was a great economical benefit.

This trip took about a month to complete, so it became a long camping trip.

After unloading in St. Paul, the oxcarts were again loaded with supplies for the Moorhead and Pembina areas.

These loads consisted of tobacco, tea, ammunition, firearms, traps and other items that were not readily available from their local area.

When we compare the oxcart and it’s trail to today’s trucks and freeway system, we can begin to see the problems faced by underdeveloped countries to compete in the world economy.

• They’re dual income. Millennials are almost twice as likely to have a spouse or partner who works at least full time than Boomers (78 percent versus 47 percent).

“The bottom line is that Millennials are entering a stage of life when they are marrying, buying homes and having children at the same time that the demands of work are increasing, while they are equipped (and sometimes expected) to work 24/7. It’s no wonder that Millennials value work-life balance higher than all other job characteristics such as job progression, use of technology and a sense of meaning at work,” Jenkins says.

Generational expert Giselle Kovary concurs: “Many Millennials don’t necessarily want to set clear boundaries between their work and their life. For a lot of people in this generational cohort, they prefer ‘work-life integration,’ an overall blending of work life and home life to allow time for both. This blurs the lines between work tasks and personal activities which can include a person doing online shopping, checking social

media, going to the gym or taking their dog for a walk during work hours while responding to work emails on evenings and weekends.

“As organizations shift into a new world of work, virtual teams and the ability to maximize flexibility through technology will become increasingly commonplace. Those organizations that capitalize on this and embrace the benefits will be able to attract and retain Millennials and high performers from all generations.”

Obituaries Dale G. Garlock

Dale G. Garlock, age 59 of Melrose, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 in CentraCare Health Hospital Emergency Department in Melrose, Minnesota.

A visitation with a Prayer Services will be held 4-8 p.m. Friday, August 16, 2019 at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Melrose, Minnesota. A Prayer Service will begin at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Paul Klasson officiating.

Dale Gary Garlock was born September 6, 1959 in Little Falls, Minnesota, the oldest child of Jeanette Rose (Kurowski) and Gary Dale Garlock. Dale grew up in Little Falls and graduated from Little Falls High School in 1977. Following high school, he completed the Mechanical Program at Brainerd Area Technical College. Dale was a hard worker. For years, he worked at Meat Processing Plants in North Dakota and Minnesota and was highly efficient at his work. He later worked as carpenter for a time and in manufacturing. About 15 years ago, he decided to partner with his father, Gary and establish G & G Recycling. Together, they would recycle and repurpose anything. Dale enjoyed the challenge of getting engines to run and was a good mechanic.

On July 13, 1996, he was united in marriage to DeAnne Akason. He enjoyed spending time with their children and grandchildren.

Dale could be described as a workaholic, but when he sat down in his chair, he enjoyed watching television, especially history documentaries.

He will be deeply missed by his wife of 23 years, DeAnne of Melrose; children, Christopher Garlock (April Steffen) of Little Falls, Christene (Chad) Bloom of Little Falls, Jonathon Garlock of Randall, Amanda Garlock of Rapid City, SD, Carrie Adamson of Rapid City, SD, Whitney Kalliokoski of Velva, ND, Jason (Amanda) Berg of Freeport, Josh (Mandi) Berg of Sauk Centre, Justin (Tina) Berg of Sauk Centre, and Amanda Berg of Melrose; many grandchildren; his parents, Jeanette and Gary Garlock of Little Falls; brother, Rodney (Debi) Garlock of Little Falls and Sheila (David) Benson of Little Falls; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.

Dale was preceded in death by his fatherin-law Gary Akason in December 2018.

Lillian A. Schoenberg, age 93 of Greenwald, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Thursday, August 8, 2019 at the CentraCare Health Nursing Home in Melrose, Minnesota.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held Wednesday, August 14 at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Greenwald with Rev. Marvin Enneking officiating with Rev. Ken Thielman and Rev. Robert Rolfes concelebrating. Interment was in the parish cemetery.

Lillian Ann Gerding was born July 13, 1926 in Elrosa, Minnesota to Hubert and Rose (Deters) Gerding. On August 30, 1949 she was united in marriage to Henry “Hank” Schoenberg at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Elrosa. They farmed near Spring Hill until their retirement in 1981 and move to Greenwald. Lillian helped on the farm

Jerilynn M. “Babe” Sweazey

Jerilynn M. “Babe” Sweazey, age 55 of Bertha, died peacefully, surrounded by her family on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 24 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Deer Creek Community Center in Deer Creek, Minnesota.

Jerilynn Mary Feela was born March 29, 1964 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Jerome and Alvina (Karst) Feela. She

graduated from Wadena Deer Creek High School and earned her nursing degree from Wadena Technical College. She was united in marriage to Everett Sweazey on May 1, 1999 in Bloomington, Minnesota. Jeri loved working at the Bloomington Richfield Early Childhood Development center as a site leader. She also worked as a Medi-Van driver and as a hospice nurse in Wadena.

Jeri enjoyed camping and RVing throughout northern Minnesota and gardening. She loved spending time with her family, especially playing with and spoiling her 18 grandchildren.

She was a member of St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Greenwald, Lake Henry American Legion Post 612 Auxiliary, and Saint Ann’s Christian Women. Lillian enjoyed playing cards with her neighbors, golfing, bowling, and taking an occasional trip to the casino. She was a great cook and her specialty was her dressing.

Survivors include her children, Dan Schoenberg of Greenwald, Lois (Al) Dorschner of Mantorville, Jim (Darlene) Schoenberg of Spring Hill, Nancy (Mike) Zschunke of Rochester, Cindy (Jim) Altendahl of Eagan, and Brian (Brenda) Schoenberg of Avon; 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; and sisters-in-law, Valeria, Rita, and Tillie Gerding.

Lillian was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Schoenberg; parents; brothers, Elmer, Raymond, Wilfred, Robert and Rueben Gerding; and two infant sisters, Bertha and Bernice Gerding.

Virgil Norbert Gruenke Mass of Christian Burial celebrating the life of Virgil N. Gruenke, age 94, of Albany was held Saturday, August 10th at Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Albany.

Burial with full military honors was in the parish cemetery.

Virgil passed away peacefully on August 7th, 2019 at Mother of Mercy Nursing Home in Albany, the same town in which he was born on June 1st, 1925 to Anton Sr. and Frances (Kalla) Gruenke. He was the ninth of 13 siblings and grew up in Albany helping with his father’s poultry business. He was an active Boy Scout and excelled at Albany High School where he was a state-licensed boxer on the school team and a quarterback on the football team where he set school records that stood for many years. He entered military service during WWII and served in the South Pacific on the Navy destroyer USS Taylor. He was present at the signing of the peace treaty with Japan that ended the war when his ship escorted the USS Missouri into Tokyo Bay for the treaty-signing ceremony. Upon his honorable discharge from the navy, Virgil returned to Albany to finish high school and then continued his education at the University of Minnesota, earning a degree in Animal Husbandry with a specialty in poultry science.

After working for a time at Stone’s Poultry Farm near Madelia, Minnesota, he again returned to Albany to own and operate the Albany Feed Elevator and Hatchery.

He married Joan Reller on August

2nd, 1958, a day he forever-after proudly proclaimed as the greatest day of his life.

They made their home and raised a family in Albany where Virgil continued to operate his business which eventually developed into Albany Hatchery and Poultry Farm. In 1972 he also took on employment with the Albany School District, working on summer maintenance projects and driving a school bus--a position he continued with for 40 years.

In 1961 he helped establish the Albany Golf Club, personally hand-building a number of the greens. A man of deep faith and with a strong sense of civic duty, Virgil was an active member of Seven Dolors Parish and involved with numerous community organizations, including the Albany American Legion Post 782, where he served as commander.

Virgil had a great sense of humor and absolutely loved a good joke which he always told with his irrepressible little smirk that let everyone know a punch line was coming and that it was all in good fun. He often thrived on entertaining others and participated in many parades as part of various clown acts with his cousins and friends. He was an avid golfer well into his 80’s and enjoyed attending local sporting events. Watching golf and the Minnesota Vikings on television--especially during the Bud Grant era--were other favorite pastimes.

Virgil is survived by his wife Joan, sons James (Patricia), St. Cloud, Greg (Marie) Drammen, Norway, Gary, Litchfield, daughters Geri (Tim) Leedahl, Avon, Janet (Scott) Radtke, Albany, Mary Greeley (fiancé Thomas Holcomb), St. Joseph, 17 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and his sister Bernice Steffen and brother Tony, Jr. He was preceded in death by his parents and by siblings Harry, Viola, Hortense, Alfred, Eleanor, Werner, Delores, Gumpert, Pirmin, and Ruth.

Grey Eagle United Methodist Church to Host Church at Birch The Grey Eagle United Methodist Church will host its annual outdoor “Church at Birch” worship service on Sunday, August 18 at 10 a.m. at John and Janet Roe’s residence at 11057 County #47, Grey Eagle. Anthony “Tony” Gruenke Services celebrating the life of Anthony “Tony” Gruenke, age 88 of Albany, was held Wednesday, August 14 at the Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Albany. Burial was in the parish cemetery.

Tony died Friday at the St. Cloud Hospital

after a short illness.

Tony was born June 26, 1931 in Albany to Anton Sr. and Frances (Kalla) Gruenke.

He graduated from the Albany High School and entered the U.S. Army. After returning from the Army, he lived in the twin cities area for a few years, He returned to Albany and started working with his brother and brotherin-law in the chicken hatchery business.

Later he and a partner purchased the Feed Mill in Richmond. He married Joan Hodel on October 8, 1960 in Seven Dolors Catholic

Not long ago I lost my billfold and all of its contents. It was simple to call the bank that issued me my credit card and ask them to cancel it. But when I went to get a new driver’s license it took much more than a phone call. I had to produce three different documents - including my birth certificate.

Fortunately, I was able to locate them with no difficulty. Birth certificates are critical when we need to prove our identity.

But a birth certificate that says we

I have been researching kits to burn hydrogen in my car and other ways to increase my mileage with additives to the tank that are supposed to increase efficiency. When the cost of fuel gets a sudden spike, you will see more of these kits on the market and offers of pills and additives claiming to be magic fixes for fuel mileage. If there was such a thing it’s likely that the manufacturers would be making a really good version of it to get their overall fuel ratings up.

Not to say that someone won’t come up with something that does the job at a price that makes it worthwhile but for now we have not seen anything. It’s completely up to you to research these products and make a final decision but we very strongly recommend that you consult with your own local mechanic before making any purchase.

2003 Chevy Impala and I was at the gas station filling it up for the second time or so and the guy next to me said I was doing it wrong and was going to wreck my car. He said I was overfilling it and need to stop when the pump clicks the first time. The problem is it clicks off when it’s only half full and you must fill it really slow or keep clicking it. This is the way my dad had to fill it for the past couple years. What is this guy talking about and why does it click off so soon?

-Dave in Bennington, Vermont Dear Dave, The guy is right. The tank is designed to shut off the pump by backing fuel up the filler tube when it’s full. If you overfill the tank by forcing fuel into it after it shuts off it will spill over into the emissions system canister damaging it.

You and your dad may not have caused what is going on now. While overfilling can cause damage to the emissions system and result in the premature shut off, a failed tank vent valve can also cause this even without canister damage.

Have the emissions system checked and if it is a valve, they can replace it so you can fill the tank faster but remember to stop when it clicks.

Dear Dave, Why do I need a will if I’m still young and haven’t acquired a lot of wealth?

-Laura Dear Laura, In a case like yours, you don’t need a complicated will. But you do need an inexpensive, basic will.

The larger and more complicated your estate is, the more you’d spend on estate planning and a will in order to ensure everything is properly addressed—and to keep the government’s hands off everything.

Let’s say you’re in your early- to mid-twenties and single. You have a car and a bank account, and that’s it.

In this kind of scenario, it’s going to be easy to work through your estate.

But it’s going to take your parents—or whoever’s left—a whole lot longer to get those few simple transactions taken care of if you don’t have a will in place.

The other thing you’ll always want to have in your will package is a healthcare power of attorney directive.

This includes things like who’s going to make medical decisions for you if you’re unable to make decisions for yourself. As a part of this, you’d want to fill out the paperwork on whether to disconnect life support systems in the event of a coma. These things aren’t fun to think about, but doing it will take a huge burden off the people you love. And all this becomes even more important if you have children, because the state will step in and decide what happens to them if you don’t.

Having these things laid out ahead of time, and sharing them with your family and close friends, is a very thoughtful and mature thing to do for those who would be left behind in the event of your death. They’re already going to be distraught and grieving, and you don’t want to make it worse by leaving them with a lot of important, difficult decisions to make.

And the new kid’s crib may have to come from a garage sale, but so what? Mine did, too. Want to know something else? I survived without having a rich kid’s nursery, and so did my kids.

There’s a price to be paid anytime you decide to get serious about gaining control of your money and cleaning up a financial mess you’ve made. You’re going to have to work like maniacs and have no lives for a while. That might even mean picking up a part-time job at night or on weekends. You’ve got a tough couple of years ahead of you, but I think it’s worth the tradeoff.

the weeds in question to not be noxious weeds. Ray checked with the County about using the sentence to serve crew to cut brush- it would cost $100 a day. Spraying would run about $200. an hour includes spray. Some discussion on which roads were reported to have issues and which had dead trees and brush in front of the signs. Ray suggested a stop sign be put up on Arbor where it meets Arden Drive now that it is tar. A question came up about a bill that was sent to the property owners for repairs that should have been taken care of by the Township, Supervisors agreed to have the Township pay for these repairs.

Ray had a question about drainage issue from a property owner on Birch Lake, he felt it was not a Township issue. Ron asked Erv H. about the road check projects. Erv stated most of gravel was done, some culvert work left and shouldering on Brakken. Ray shared pictures he had taken of the tar project on Arden Drive.

Additional agenda item: The insurance company sent information about changing the agreed value of the Township property. They also stated the fire extinguisher was not serviced.

Ron made the motion to change the agreed value for the hall to $150,000. Ray made the second.

All in favor. Ron will take care of having the fire extinguisher checked. The September meeting will be moved to September 9th due to the Labor Day holiday.

Equalization training has expired for the two board members and will need to be updated. Election equipment update meeting at Long Prairie will be Thursday Aug. 8. The District meeting is August 14 at Brainerd. Ron had a call about dog feces at the public beach. Ron checked this out and suggested that a sign be posted to have dog owners clean up after their pets.

Burtrum City August 5, 2019 The meeting of the Burtrum City Council was called to order at 7:00 pm on Monday, August 5th, 2019 by Mayor Ron Strassburg. Those in attendance included: Ronald Strassburg, Carrie Wiechmann, Deb VanHavermaet, Mitchell Bruggenthies, Sharon Erickson, Kevin Rohde, and Dustin Wiechmann.

The meeting minutes from July 1st, 2019 were read and approved by a motion made by Kevin Rohde, seconded by Mitchell Bruggenthies, upon vote motion was carried and the minutes were accepted. Next the finance report was read and approved by a motion made by Deb VanHavermaet and seconded by Sharon Erickson. The City Council then discussed outstanding/routine bills and upon a motion made by Deb VanHavermaet and seconded by Kevin Rohde, the bills were paid.

Regarding old business, no old business to discuss Next, in new business, Joe from the Heritage Club was present to see if they could obtain a Liquor License for August 24th and 25th for Burtrum Heritage Days. Motion was made first by Kevin Rohde and seconded by Mitchell Bruggenthies Dennis Rohde was present with his daughter Candice regarding a building permit to add on a 16wx24l building to her property.

There was a discussion on a few monthly bills that will be increasing the new coming year.

The City of Burtrum received a thank you letter from Initiative Foundation for donation and 4H Club for borrowing a planter for the fair.

As there was no further topics to discuss the meeting was adjourned with a motion first made

Public invited to comment on special fishing Deacon Jerome “Jerry” Roth D e a c o n years and had 7 children (Kathleen, Kevin, regulations Jerome Roth, 93 Kim, Kent, Kara, Kelly and Keith), 21 During a series of 17 public meetings, anglers and others can give their opinions about proposed 2020 changes to special fishing regulations for 30 lakes.

These proposed changes are coming from 13 Minnesota Department of Natural Resources area fisheries offices. These regulations are designed to help meet fisheries objectives for particular lakes and would be different from the regulations that apply statewide or to major zones of the state.

“Lots of folks don’t realize how important it is for us to have Minnesotans’ perspectives integrated into our fish management goals,” said Jon Hansen, DNR fisheries programs consultant. “Public input and engagement are central to helping us work with Minnesotans to effectively manage fisheries.”

For example, public input could lead to a specific fish population objective, such as increasing pike sizes, Hansen explained. The DNR can propose regulations to achieve that objective, and anglers and others can share their thoughts about the proposal. Fisheries staff spend much of their time collecting data on fish populations, which tells whether a management objective is being met. Then, the DNR responds to these data by proposing to change a regulation or keep it the same.

The list of proposed regulation changes is long this year because of a review of existing special northern pike regulations that are different from the zone regulations.

During the process of implementing the northern pike management zones in 2018, the DNR committed to re-evaluating all of the existing special pike regulations on 84 lakes to see where the special regulations were producing the desired results and which lakes might perform as well under the new zone regulations.

Based on the review, 10 lakes are being proposed to revert to the zone regulation and five are proposed to be modified to a different special regulation.

In most streams and rivers, statewide regulations, such as bag limits, do an adequate job in providing quality fishing opportunities; however, some fish populations are unique or experience angling pressure that warrants special regulations.

During their marriage, Jerome and Irene lived in the Twin Cities area and on Irene’s Third Generation Century Farm in Bowlus before retiring to St. Benedict’s Village in Monticello, MN. Jerome attended St. John’s University before being ordained a Deacon in 1982.

He performed most of his diaconate service at St. Stanislaus Kostka, and in surrounding parishes. He was also Religious Education Director for Holy Trinity Church in Royalton, MN for seven years.

Survived by children: Kathleen (Daniel) Holker, Kim (Si) Koning, Kent (Joan) Roth, Kara (Al Stewart) Harren, Kelly (Paul) Beniek and Keith Roth.

He was a Fourth Degree and Life member of the Knights of Columbus, and member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He is preceded in death by parents, Adam and Elizabeth (Portner) Roth; wife Irene Mary (Ohotto), son Kevin Roth, daughterin-law Gloria Roth and great grandchildren Jack Holker, Blaise LeBlanc and Cora Roth.

Okay, don’t get mad and protest that I’m bringing up Christmas too early. Even though the actual holiday is still four months away, it’s not too early to budget for it.

One of the most frequent stressors I hear about during the holiday season is overspending. So many people have the best intentions—and they want to give to as many people as possible—but those good intentions often come with a lot of bills in January.

If you’re worried about overspending this Christmas, the fix is to do a Christmas budget. Here’s how you make a very simple zero-based Christmas budget: Step 1: Decide how much you can spend on Christmas gifts I’m not talking about throwing Christmas parties or decorating your house. This is just about gifts.

Jerome was born and raised in Hankinson, ND. where he attended St. Francis Academy. He enlisted in the Navy in 1942 and was honorably discharged in 1946. He attended college for two years before re-enlisting for another 22 years in the Naval Reserve as a Chief Petty Officer.

300 bicyclists to tour north central Minnesota Aug. 15-18 Motorists will notice an increased number of bicyclists on north central Minnesota highways Aug. 15-18 for the annual Bicycling Around Minnesota event, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

The ride will begin and end in St. Joseph, Minn. Approximately 300 bicyclists will travel through Sauk Centre, Spicer and Hutchinson on several state highways, local routes and bicycle paths during the four days. Bicyclists will ride 60 to 70 miles each day.

MnDOT reminds all travelers to share the road, follow all traffic safety laws and not drive distracted.

The law is clear—bicyclists and motorists share responsibility. August 7, 2019: At 08:08 received a call of a property damage accident that occurred at the intersection of County 103 and Chippewa Road in Grey Eagle Twp Sect 03. It was reported that between 18:30 hours on 08-06-2019 and 06:30 hours on 08-07-2019, a vehicle was northbound on County 103 and went off the roadway into the north ditch. The vehicle struck road signs and then fled the scene. The car is believed to be a 1999 to 2003 model Mazda Protege, beige in color. The car will have damage to the passenger side rear. August 8, 2019: At 10:00 received a call from the Dollar General Store at the address of 315 State St. West in the city of Grey Eagle. They report that between 0700 hours on 08-06-2019 and 1000 hours on 08-08-2019, suspects tried to force entry into the store. The incident is currently under investigation. August 12, 2019: During the week of July 28th through August 3rd, the Todd County Sheriff’s Office responded to 200 calls for service.
