Ms. Beryl Joy Levi (May 4, 1932-February 26, 2011)wasthePresidentandCEOofTowerIsle Frozen Foods, Ltd. Tower Isle has been recognizedasthe“originalmanufacturer”of JamaicanStylepatties,inNewYork,thatare not only popular with the West Indian population but also with mainstream America.

Ms. Levi who hails from Jamaica, W.I. attendedtheFashionInstituteofTechnology, whereshegraduatedasafashiondesigner. After working with several distinguished houses in New York, she joined her late husband in establishing a West Indian Bakeryin1969.

As President and CEO of Tower Isle Frozen Foods, Ltd., Ms. Levi provided exemplary leadership and the company flourished underherguidance.

AdevoutChristian,Ms.Leviwasveryactivein many local charitable and educational organizations; among them the ‘The Gift of Life’, a worldwide organization that brings childrenwithheartdefectstotheU.S.forlifesaving surgery, which was not available in theircountry.

She sponsored children from Jamaica, who benefited tremendously from the medical care,goingontolivehealthylives.

The Beryl Levi Foundation is proud to offer four scholarships of $500.00 each to four students at Broward Housing Solutions to assistwithschoolsupplies.
