Security summit to open Winter Meeting The Gas and Oil Association of WV, Inc. (GOWV) will host its annual Winter Meeting on January 17-18, 2024, at the Marriott Town Center Hotel in Charleston. Make plans now to join friends, colleagues, legislators and professional contacts for this worthwhile and exciting twoday event. Mark your calendars and register now online or use the forms on pages 26 and 27. Wednesday will feature a security summit that will provide useful information and insight into safeguarding your critical and essential infrastructure. You'll hear from industry leaders, state and national experts in both physical and cybersecurity. It is critical that we understand cybersecurity is not just an IT concern, but a component of importance to us all. This summit will help provide guidance through best practices and regula-
tions on how to build a stronger system to protect from various types of threats that may be encountered. Two key aspects will focus on prevention measures and response mechanisms.
