Flying W Plastics Operations Expanding from Glenville to Include Jacksonville, FL
Flying W Plastics, Inc. has been in the business of manufacturing polyethylene plastic pipe since 1984. Our current production capabilities exceed 5 million pounds of finished goods per month on our 10 production lines. Sizes manufactured include ½" through 20" at our current location in Glenville, WV and with expansion to 24" at our new Jacksonville, FL facility. We currently employ over 120 quality employees who manufacture products 24 hours per day 7 days per week.
Our products are sold through a vast network of distributors, many of which are national and international companies. While our business is concentrated in the eastern half of the United Sates, we have shipped products to every state in the continental US, to Canada, and several other countries. We manufacture pipe for the following applications; Industrial/Municipal Water & Sewer, Gas Collection & Gathering, Telecommunications and Power/Electrical Conduit, Geothermal, Power Plants, and Landfills.
We currently are members of or manufacture pipe to the specifications of the following organizations; PPI (Plastic Pipe Institute), NSF (National Sanitation Foundation), AWWA (American Water Works Association), RUS (Rural Utility Services), NEMA (National Electrical Membership Association), ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials), IGSHPA (International Ground Source Heat Pump Association) and the National Plumbing Code.

rives at our facility by our Quality Control laboratory before it is put into use. Our Quality Control lab then tests our finished goods to insure they comply with the appli cable standards to which they are manufactured. All finished goods are labeled with identifying codes. This allows complete traceability from the time the resin arrives at our facility, through the produc tion process and on to the end user. All records are kept in both electronic format and hard copy format and are made available to the interested parties upon re quest.
Periodic test are done with independent labs as necessary. Our lab, facility, and records are inspected by NSF at a minimum of twice per year to insure products meet their standards.
Flying W Plastics manufactures its products to comply with or exceed the highest industry standards available.
