IOGAWV Names 2017-18 Leadership Team Marc Monteleone has been selected as 2017-2018 President of the Independent Oil and Gas Association of West Virginia, Inc. (IOGAWV). He will be joined by Vice President Brett Loflin and Secretary/Treasurer Jim Pritt. These officers will assume their duties following the Summer Meeting. Marc A. Monteleone is a partner in the Charleston, West Virginia, office of Bowles Rice and serves as the firm’s Chief Financial Officer. He concentrates his practice in oil and gas law, commercial law, federal and

state taxation, construction law and real estate development. He has extensive experience in managing oil and gas operations and is the owner of Mountain Lion Enterprises Inc. and Tygart River Oil & Gas, LLC. He serves as general counsel to Waco Oil & Gas Co., Inc., where his duties include overseeing Marcellus Shale exploration, negotiation

of gas sales contracts and supervising mineral acquisitions. In addition, he represents many large and small oil and gas production companies. He has an extensive real estate practice in land use and development law, representing both large and small developers proposing commercial and residential projects. Monteleone previously served on the board of directors of IOGAWV from 2010-2013 and served as secretary/treasurer from 20112013. He currently serves on several New Officers Continued on page 6

Register now to join the fun at the 2017 IOGA Sports Weekend beginning on Friday, September 8, at Morgantown’s Lakeview Golf Resort & Spa. Activities begin at 8:00 a.m. with registration. The four-person scramble golf tournament features a shotgun start at 9:00 a.m. on the Lakeview course. For those who would prefer shooting sporting clays, arrangements have been made at Hunting Hills beginning at 9:30 a.m. A short 20-minute drive from Lakeview, Hunting Hills is where champions are made! The 10:00 a.m. tailgate party will start two hours prior to kick-off at noon.
