HUBER DONATES $500,000 TO GARY SINISE FOUNDATION
J.M. Huber Corporation (Huber), one of the largest family-owned companies based in the United States, announced today that it has donated $500,000 to the Gary Sinise Foundation (GSF) to fund their Empowerment Workshops program for surviving spouses and children of fallen soldiers.
The donated funds will go towards GSF’s Snowball Express initiative, which is committed to year-round programming and support for families that honors their fallen hero, encourages them to make new memories, and provides opportunities to connect with others who know what they’ve been through. Snowball Express Empowerment Workshops are three-day retreats where surviving spouses and young adults come together to bond and learn about self-awareness and effective communication methods to lead empowering lives.

Since 2018 Huber has supported GSF’s R.I.S.E. program, which custom-builds specially adapted, mortgage-free smart homes for US wounded warriors, with donated Huber Engineered Woods products and financial contributions. This helps the veterans regain their freedom and independence. This new level of support will expand its impact to focus on the relief and resiliency of the families of the fallen.
