LETTER FROM MATT WEBER

Added to the roster for 2023 was the National Hardware Show, which displays all the cool new items you’ll see at your local hardware store this year. Also scheduled was The International Surface Event, which is the largest floor covering, stone, and tile industry event in North America. And for lovers of interior décor, attendees not everyone can travel to Nevada to see all the sights, so this issue of HIR provides a huge roundup of some standout products that were introduced in Vegas. You’ll feel like you’re walking the aisles, and you save money on airfare!

Plus, we feature a how-to story on installing mantle shelves, showing how the pros install solid wood

This year’s show season was a doozy. The stars aligned for the 2023 Design + Construction Week, held in Las Vegas, Nevada, so attendees could enjoy five related trade shows co-located for one spectacular event. With a single registration, visitors could walk the International Builders’ Show and the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show, as well as three new events scheduled for the same week.
