The inspiration for this master bathroom remodel was a spa retreat. It was an interesting challenge to rework the floor plan to remove the second entry door into the guest bedroom on the rear wall, add a floating tub, and expand the shower and closet area. The mosaic-glass tile tub wall with a soap/candle niche and wall mounted faucet is a striking focal point when entering the space! A glass paneled contemporary barn door creates interest, while being a functional closet door. Sherwin Williams Eider White bead-board adds a Hamptons feel to the vanity. The romantic free-standing tub sits on a Carrara marble diamond mosaic rug inlay set off by a contrasting Thassos border. The same mosaic clads the focal wall of the shower, while the crystal light fixtures add sparkle and refinement. Courtesy of Jinx McDonald Interior Designs, www.jinxmcdonald.com

KURTZ HOMES This spa-like bath complements the Balinese design of the VIP suite in this John Cooney designed residence built by Kurtz Homes. The dark wood, floating vanity with double vessel sinks is set in front of a picture window which is shielded from the outside by perpetual planters filled with bamboo trees. NAPLES KITCHEN & BATH This master bathroom remodel achieves the clean and bright aesthetic the owners desired. Brian Raymond of Naples Kitchen and Bath collaborated with Cinnabar Design, removing the existing outdated cultured marble bathtub and creating a more functional and visually pleasing design. In the new layout, a freestanding bathtub with floormounted tub filler is angled in the corner against Limestone Grigio matte tile flooring. His and hers custom vanities feature quartz countertops with a waterfall edge covering the sides. A frameless glass enclosure reveals a new shower with decorative tile. Oversize frameless mirrors form a reflective expanse above, brightening the room. Courtesy of Naples Kitchen & Bath, www.napleskb.com

This master bedroom is a soothing retreat created by Jinx McDonald Design for the Grenada Model at Windward Isle. The style is plantation West Indies. The four poster bed draped with white Coraggio sheer panels sets the grand and romantic tone of the room. The dark java furniture pieces look rich and stately, while white drapery provides a crisp contrast. Soft aqua blue walls complete the

scheme.

KW DESIGN Located in a Port Royal home, this stylish, relaxing bunk room positions two sets of bunk beds flanking a window facing out to a secret butterfly garden. The outside is brought in through the use of green and blue fabric in the custom bedding, and also splashed on the benches. The row boat, sourced from a lake house in New Hampshire, was creatively handfashioned into a chandelier to create a whimsical statement that can’t be missed. Finally, the unexpected faux zebra rug adds a playful layer to the original shellstone floors. Courtesy of KW Design, www. kristenwilliams.com

With limited space for dining and six family members, the built-in banquette allows for extra floor space. The chairs and banquette are upholstered in Crypton fabric for easy cleaning. The biscuit color tufted back creates interest. In an effort to capture all useable space, touch latch drawers are hidden in the base. PALM BROTHERS REMODELING Palm Brothers Remodeling designed this sleek contemporary kitchen for a family in North Naples. Custom cabinetry was manufactured by Palm Brothers for a one- of-a-kind design. The cabinetry includes a twotone look, with a combination of white high-gloss lacquered fronts, and Italian Macassar engineered veneer on the island. For a minimalist look, all base cabinets are oversized drawers, with touch latch mechanisms, eliminating the need for cabinet hardware. A butcher block sits on the edge of this 9-foot island. The countertop is Caesarstone Pure White quartz and the backsplash is Dune linear mirror mosaic. Courtesy of Palm Brothers Remodeling, www.palmbrothersremodeling.com

REED DESIGN BUILD Reed Design Build created this luxurious kitchen in Pelican Marsh. This tiny jewel box of a unit has a captivating, expansive view of the Gulf. This 1,500-square-foot vacation home was designed for a family of six with teens and pre-teens. The Century cocktail table has a shagreen top and a delicate curvined silver-leaf base. Anchoring the space is a hand knotted, tone-ontone area rug with a raised geometric pattern. Pops of sunset orange add interest and color; natural sea forms bring in the beauty of nature. The custom made sideboard houses a beverage fridge, barware, and even games for the kids. CINNABAR DESIGN This Pelican Bay remodel had its challenges, which ultimately afforded amazing opportunities. Ceilings were raised and redesigned with floating beams. Walls were removed and design details were added, including floating shelves, lighted niches with Maya Romanoff Capiz shell wall covering, and a custom-designed sand room for rolled towels and woven baskets. Dated 3-inch cherry wood flooring was replaced with wide plank porcelain wood tile. All of the cabinets and tile in the home were specially designed to reflect the transitional-coastal feel that the owners wanted for their get-away retreat. The final touch was added with furnishings, art, accessories, and window treatments. Courtesy of Cinnabar Design. www.cinnabardesign.com

COLLINS & DUPONT DESIGN GROUP This 1968 Gulfview condo was lifted out of a retro Florida style to a coastal contemporary design. The clients wanted the ceiling to feel higher, and to open up the overall space to showcase the amazing view. Installing painted wood beams added interest and height to the entire space. The wood beams hide electrical used for track lighting to illuminate the room. Fabrics in sand tones with pops of turquoise, and abstract art give the appearance of floating on top of the water. Contemporary wood-like tile and cabinets in the kitchen bring the entire space into the new decade. Courtesy of Collins & DuPont Design Group, www.collins-dupont.com

DISTRICT DESIGN Located on a beautiful waterfront property in Port Royal, this alluring family room was designed by focusing on the overall effect of different materials and colors rather than one individual element. To add subtle highlights and delineate the space, the newly designed tray ceilings were accented with textured, soft blue wall covering. Furnishings were selected for a carefree and welcoming design.
