JKL DESIGN GROUP This Sarasota condominium, centrally located and right on the water, had an amazing beginning even before the walls were built. The owners wanted a clean and modern yet warm and inviting space. Interior designers Kurt Lucas and Christopher J. Sloan of JKL Design Group delivered the desired aesthetic.The living space is open to the outdoors, kitchen, bar, and piano.Art from the client’s world travels is also used to warm the space and bring character to this new construction home. RILEY INTERIOR DESIGN This stunning waterfront home on Sarasota’s Bird Key with interiors by Carrie Riley of Riley Interior Design has enduring appeal. The luxurious California-contemporary residence built by Murray Homes is designed from the outdoors in, encompassing 5,700 square feet with dual living rooms, four bedrooms, a den with 250 bottle wine wall, and a 5-car garage. Riley’s design direction was to create a chic and livable coastal contemporary.

The owner desired a space planned well enough to feel intimate, yet versatile enough to host and entertain a number of friends and family.The interiors finishes selected by Riley blend the modern architectural style with crisp whites and warm, natural, materials and textures. STOCK DEVELOPMENT This Stock Development model represents livable luxury in Bradenton’s Lakewood Ranch. Interior Designer Stephanie Nolan for Pizzazz Interiors enhanced the rich finishes and monochromatic palette with metal detailing and unique furnishings. The great room is anchored by a white velvet sofa with polished chrome nail-head detail and a glass and chrome table and mid-century modern chairs. Nolan selected a polished stainless-steel sofa table with hide-covered ottomans to separate the great room from the all-white kitchen where Mercury glass pendants and sculptural low-profile chrome and leather stools add a touch of sparkle. A Carrara marble-topped table with hammered chrome base distinguishes the sophisticated dining area. The nearly all white bath and master bedroom are accented with metal finishes in the lighting and furnishings. The bonus room conveys a sense of playfulness via faux snakeskin silver ottomans in lieu of a traditional coffee table and a funky mid-century modern fixture overhead.

INTERIOR MOTIVES DESIGN Tina Prizament, owner and principal interior designer of Interior Motives Design transformed a once oily, dirty mechanic’s garage into an award-winning state-of-the-art corporate headquarters. Prizament’s interior design includes rustic wood beams and brick walls, rawedge wood furnishings, and industrial-chic lighting selections. The project received a Grand Aurora Award for Best Commercial Project.

DISTINCTIVE INTERIORS Terry Bradshaw, one of pro sports’ most recognizable figures, along with his wife Tammy, loved the bones of this Sarasota home but felt it needed a good refresh to reflect their personality and lifestyle. Interior designer, Stephanie Nolan of Distinctive Interiors utilized fabrics, patterns, and furnishings to deliver the ‘Mediterranean with ranch styling’ the Bradshaw’s desired. “Terry likes bright colors and he especially likes yellows and blues, so the color palette is gold and teal,” says Nolan. She selected hand-carved and hand-chiseled pieces in dark wood tones to enhance the Mediterranean style and continue the ranch feel.
