Paul, called to be an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, and our brother Sosthenes, 2 To the church of God that is in Corinth, to those who are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, together with all those who in every place call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, both their Lord and ours: 3 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 4 I give thanks to my God always for you because of the grace of God that has been given you in Christ Jesus, 5 for in every way you have been enriched in him, in speech and knowledge of every kind— 6 just as the testimony of Christ has been strengthened among you— 7 so that you are not lacking in any spiritual gift as you wait for the revealing of our Lord Jesus Christ. 8 He will also strengthen you to the end, so that you may be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 God is faithful; by him you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

2. Zion hears the watchmen singing, and in her heart new joy is springing; she wakes, she rises from her gloom. PARISH ANNUAL MEETING TODAY. The Holy Trinity Christmas Street Stall will be held on Saturday 6 December 2014, from 9am – 12:30 PM. This is a major fund raising event for the parish and you are invited to contribute towards the stall. Start planning to make this a memorable Christmas event for the Kew precinct. All contributions for the Christmas stall are warmly welcomed. The stall is usually stocked with home baked biscuits, slices, cakes, sweets, jams, preserves and chutneys. Should you wish, you can contribute some home grown vegetables or fruit from your garden. Any plants, cuttings and seedlings are most welcome to stock the plant stall. Books as well! The Boroondara Symphonic Band will be performing during the morning. Mothers Union and Friends: Our Christmas meeting will be on Wednesday December 3. We will meet in the chapel at 11 for the Eucharist and lunch will follow in the op shop. All are welcome. Please bring some lunch to share. Enquiries: Carol Fraser.

Holy Trinity Kew – Christmas Cakes and Christmas puddings The traditional trading table for the sale of Holy Trinity Christmas cakes and a limited number of Christmas puddings will take place on Sunday 30 November 2014. The previous custom of supplying cakes or puddings by pre order has been discontinued. There will be an adequate stock of cakes and a limited number of puddings in a variety of sizes available for purchase on that day.
