ADULT WELLNESS

YOUTH DEVELOPMENT BEFORE- & AFTER-SCHOOL CARE & PRESCHOOL

WELLNESS CENTER Our Wellness Center includes state-of-the-art cardiovascular, strength, and flexibility equipment designed to meet the needs of both beginners and the experienced.

GROUP FITNESS CLASSES With over 50 classes each week, you’ll never get bored: cardio hip-hop, body sculpt, Y-Cycle, cardio kickboxing, water aerobics, boot camp, strength training, Pilates, yoga, and more! All land-based classes are included in your membership.

ACTIVE OLDER ADULTS Our Active Older Adult land-based and aquatics classes are about more than just staying active. They are also about building friendships and creating positive experiences.

TEACHING KITCHEN CLASSES Our Healthy Living Teaching Kitchen is here to help you reach your health and wellness goals. Programming will include nutrition classes, cooking demonstrations, family classes, and more.

TRIATHLON CLUB & COACHING The YMCA Triathlon Program allows athletes of all abilities to improve their swimming, biking, and running skills with a range of practices offered throughout the week or one-on-one coaching sessions.

SWIMMING

We have decades of experience providing safe, high-quality child care that strengthens the family and develops the whole child socially, physically, and academically. Our after- & before-school programming includes literacy and homework help, thematic curriculum, arts and crafts, physical activities, outside play, and snacks. Our Y-Kids Preschool program is half- or full-day and includes: swim lessons, early literacy, tumbling, music, arts, nutrition, kindergarten readiness, and more.

HUBS The Holyoke Urban Bike Shop (HUBS) offers a wide array of bicycle mechanics, maintenance & build-abike programs tailored to different ages.

FIT ZONE

Whether you’re six months or sixty-years old, we have swimming programs and pools for you. Our facility includes a six-lane 25-yard pool for lap swimming, advanced swim lessons, and our Vikings Swim Team and a four-lane 20-yard pool for open swims, physical therapy, aquatic fitness, and youth swim classes.

Our Fit Zone is designed to help youth ages 6 to 13 be active! With youthsized equipment and activities, a kid can’t help but have FUN.

ADULT SWIMMING PROGRAMS We offer lap swimming every day, adult waterfitness programs for adults and a Masters Swim club for proficient adults.

COMPETITIVE SWIMMING From our Little Vikings to our dynamic Competitive Vikings Swim Team to our Masters Swim Club, our program strives to develop each individual to their maximum potential as a person and a swimmer.

In our youth classes, children and teens learn values & positive behaviors while exploring their unique talents and interests. Kids realize their potential in programs like cooking, basketball, ballet, soccer, music, tumbling, swimming, hiphop dancing, and more; that makes for confident kids today and engaged adults tomorrow!

FAMILY STRENGTHENING Enjoy special time for families to have fun and create memories that last a lifetime with Y activities like open swims, family nights, kids’ night out, family cooking classes, and more!
