Masters Swimming is an organized program of swimming for adults. The focus of this program is to provide structured workouts for swimmers. This program differs from lap swimming in that a coach will be at all practices to give feedback, including stroke refinement. The coach will adapt the workouts to meet your needs and goals while providing a fun and challenging workout for all. ADULT AQUATICS CLASS DESCRIPTIONS ADULT SWIM LESSONS
This class is gentle introduction or reintroduction to swimming that helps participants become comfortable and confident in the water! The Y has been teaching people how to swim for many years and is dedicated to continuing to introduce swimming to as many people as possible! It's never too late to master the basics with our supportive staff. ARTHRITIS FOUNDATION WATER AEROBICS
This water aerobic class includes range of motion, muscular strength and endurance activities. This is a great class for those with arthritis or other related conditions, as well as being beneficial to all individuals who would benefit from a low-intensity exercise program. AQUA FITNESS
Aqua fitness uses the natural resistance of the water to help participants build cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength and endurance and flexibility. This class is an excellent alternative to a land-based fitness class and is a lot of fun. AQUA AEROBICS
The fun-filled class is designed around aerobic moves that comfortably raise your heart rate to increase your cardiovascular health and strength. The class also uses resistive equipment to incorporate muscular toning. This is a great class that is not hard on your joints! MASTERS SWIMMING

Senior swim takes place in our small pool, which is a warmer water pool. During senior swim, the pool is open for one hour for your own use! SOAKER SWIM
This is an opportunity for persons recovering from injuries, or otherwise on the mend to swim and move their joints and muscles in calm, warm water. This class is in the small pool. Length in pool is one hour. SWIM FIT
Swim-fit is a supervised swim workout. This class will not only build your endurance and speed, but also improve your swimming strokes, turns, and general technique. Participants are encouraged to have a bathing cap and goggles. A pull buoy and kickboards are available for use during the class. Class meets 1-3 days per week. You have the option to do one, two, or all three classes each week.
