Congratulations Girls Basketball 4A State Champions
The Holy Family girls basketball team rallied in the second half against unbeaten D’Evelyn to claim the Class 4A State Championship. It was the 7th state title for the program and their first in the 4A classification.

Senior Fiona Snashall took over the game in the fourth quarter, scoring eight of her team-high 14 points, and the team’s trademark defense tightened up in the closing minutes.
Snashall, junior Julia Hodell and junior Essynce Contreraz combined for 30 points in a victory that felt like it was a long time coming for this group.
“It feels amazing,” Contreraz said while cradling the 4A trophy with both arms on the court after the victory. “The coaching staff we have and the girls we have, you can’t find that anywhere.”
“We wanted to make our mark at Holy Family. That is what we did,” Snashall said. “Our motto this whole year was ‘one more’. We needed one more final push in the second half to take over.”
The Tigers finished the season 25-3.
