1.) An ordained deacon may wear a stole, however, it is worn cross body rather than over the shoulders/around the neck. 2.) Persons may consecrate the elements only within the bounds of their parish. This would include hospitals and in homes. 3.) Whereas the state may allow certain persons to perform weddings, church doctrine restricts weddings for these categories to within the bounds of the charge to which the pastor is assigned. 4.) ¶328 states that when “…contextually appropriate and duly authorized” Deacons may “…preside at the celebration of the sacraments.”
