PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE – DAVE ROUSSEAU
There is a saying that years follow each other and are alike…At least the year 2021 required as much resilience as the previous one to get through this worldwide pandemic that has shaken our life habits. It also reduced the chances we had to communicate with other producers during the different agricultural events. However, I consider that our Canadian Association has taken advantage of the last year to move forward on several important issues for our breed. In addition to providing exceptional service to our members and our association, our service agreement with Holstein Canada has allowed us, for several years now, to maintain a positive financial bottom line. This change in our financial situation allows us to be more comfortable and to allow for better support to the different clubs in the provinces. I would also like to highlight the work that has been done on our newsletter which is published twice a year. The improvements made to this journal have allowed us to restore its credibility and to get closer to the famous magazine La Cloche which was formerly published by the Canadian association. We are also hoping for better collaboration with the different clubs in Canada to provide us with information for our newsletter and thus keep our members across Canada informed.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the directors who represent you, the members. A lot of work has been done on the By-law rules and regulations to improve them and make them more up to date and functional. Many voluntary hours have been invested by the members of the board of directors to make this happen. All this work will allow for the improvement of our association and greater simplicity of our rules to ease things for our members and was more than necessary after all these years. We are also very proud to have added a class for the young people in the All-Canadian show underlining the work being done by these youths to promote our breed during the various shows throughout the year. The new generation remains for us the greatest asset that we have for the future of agriculture and to make the Brown Swiss breed stand out. Finally, I would like to thank you for letting me represent you within the Canadian association. I also invite you and hope to see you at the Brown Swiss World Fair which will take place in early October 2022, during the World Dairy Expo in Madison. This will be an excellent opportunity for you to network with other passionate breeders from all over the world. Annual Report 2021 Rapport annuel

MESSAGE DU PRÉSIDENT– DAVE ROUSSEAU
Un dicton dit, les années se suivent et se ressemble... Du moins l’année 2021 nous a demandés autant de résilience que la précédente pour traverser cette pandémie mondiale qui à ébranler nos habitudes de vie mais aussi réduit les chances que nous avions de communiquer avec d’autres producteurs lors des différents évènements agricoles. Je considère toutefois que notre Association Canadienne a su profiter de la dernière année pour avancer dans plusieurs dossiers importants pour notre race. En plus de nous assurer un service exceptionnel pour nos membres et notre association, notre entente de service avec Holstein Canada nous permet, et ce depuis quelques années maintenant, de maintenir un exercice financier positif. Ce changement de situation financière nous permet ainsi d’être plus alaise et de pouvoir espérer un meilleur support aux différents clubs des provinces. Je tiens aussi à souligner le travail qui a été effectué sur notre journal qui est publié deux fois par année. Les améliorations apportez à ce dernier on permit de redonner ses lettres de noblesses et de se rapprocher de la célèbre revue La Cloche qui était anciennement publiés par l’association canadienne. Nous espérons aussi une meilleure collaboration avec les différents clubs du Canada pour nous fournir des textes pour notre journal et ainsi tenir informer les membres à travers la Canada.
Je voudrais aussi, saisir l’occasion pour remercier les administrateurs qui vous représente, vous les membres. Beaucoup de travail a été effectué sur les règlements du BY LAW pour améliorer ses derniers et le rendre plus à jour et fonctionnelle. Ce sont plusieurs heures qui ont été investis par les membres du conseil d’administration et ce bénévolement. Tout ce travail qui permettra l’amélioration de notre association et une plus grande simplicité pour nos employés à suivre nos règlements était plus que nécessaire après toutes ces années. Nous sommes aussi très fiers d’avoir ajouté une classe pour les jeunes dans le concours All Canadienne et ainsi permettre de souligner le travail effectué par ces jeunes à promouvoir notre race lors des différentes expositions tout au long de l’année. La relève reste pour nous la plus grande richesse que nous avons pour le futur de l’agriculture et pour faire rayonner la Brown Swiss. Finalement je tiens à vous remercier de me laisser vous représenter au sein de l’association Canadienne. Je vous invite aussi et espère vous voir lors du Mondiale de la Brown Swiss qui aurait lieu au début octobre 2022, lors de la World Dairy Expo à Madison. Ce sera une ex-cellente occasion de vous de réseauter avec des éleveurs aussi passionner que vous prove-nant des 4 coins du globe terrestre.

MINUTES – 2021 AGM THE CANADIAN BROWN SWISS AND BRAUNVIEH ASSOCIATION ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING MINUTES OF THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF THE MEMBER of The Canadian Brown Swiss and Braunvieh Association held via Zoom videoconference on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. With the consent of the owners and no objections noted, D. Rousseau presided as Chair of the meeting. WELCOME AND CALL TO ORDER Notice of this virtual Annual General Meeting was delivered to all registered members by electronic means on May 01, 2021 in accordance with the By-Laws of the Association. The Chair reported that a total of 17 members were represented by proxy and live attendance through the webinar. The meeting was duly called to order at 11:13 a.m. Sue Robertson of MinuteTakers Inc. was appointed as the official Recording Secretary to take the Minutes of the meeting, with no objections noted in this regard. 2. APPROVAL OF THE AGENDA The Chair asked for any additions or amendments to the Agenda. On a Motion by Serge Bilodeau and seconded by Dave Labrie it was: RESOLVED THAT the Agenda be approved as presented. Motion carried as evidenced by a virtual show of hands. 3. MINUTES OF THE LAST ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING The Chair advised the owners that the Minutes of the last Annual General Meeting held on March 29, 2019 were provided with the Notice of the Annual General Meeting. The Chair reviewed the highlights of the meeting. No questions were raised. On a Motion by Serge Bilodeau and seconded by Ariane Maltais, it was: RESOLVED THAT that the Minutes of the last Annual General Meeting of the Canadian Brown and Swiss Braunvieh Annual Report 2021 Rapport annuel

Association held on March 29, 2019 be adopted and verified as presented. Motion carried as evidenced by a virtual show of hands. 4. BUSINESS ARISING FROM THE 2019 MINUTES The Chair provided highlights of the business from the last Annual General Meeting. It was advised that three resolutions were approved. An update on the By-Law was provided. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, Ontario was unable to host the 2020 Annual General Meeting. A catch-up program was implemented for one year and the Association will vote on this program again this year to make it permanent and eliminate the requirement to vote on this annually. The 2020 Brown Swiss World Conference was eliminated. It is hoped that the Conference will be scheduled in 2020 in Madison, Wisconsin. A US animal and publishable status issue was raised, and the Board advised that there is no other incident that was reported until now. No questions were raised with respect to the report. 5. PRESIDENTS REPORT Dave Rousseau delivered his President’s report, a copy of which was sent to the membership in advance of the meeting on page 5 in the Annual Report. 6. FINANCIAL MATTERS 6.1
Financial Statement Summary
Shirley Dortmans provided a financial update for the 2020 fiscal year as provided by RLB with highlights noted as follows: (a)
Revenue – Total revenue was $68,218.
(b)
Expenses – Expenses were $49,744.
(c)
Surplus – The Association ended the year with a surplus of $18,474.
(d)
COVID-19 – The Association had no major impairment on revenues and expenses were comparable to 2019. The Association does not have payroll costs or reduced revenue, and was therefore, not eligible for COVID- 19 government subsidies.

Approval of Financial Report
On a Motion by Shannon Drummond and seconded by Dave Labrie it was: RESOLVED THAT the 2020 financial report as prepared by rlb Chartered Professional Accountants be accepted as presented. Motion carried as evidenced by a virtual show of hands. 6.3 Appointment of Accountants On Motion by Ken Drummond and seconded by Dave Labrie, it was: RESOLVED THAT the firm of RLB Chartered Professional Accountants be re-appointed as Accountants of the Canadian Brown Swiss and Braunvieh Association to hold office until the close of the next Annual General Meeting. Motion carried as evidenced by a virtual show of hands. 7. FEE SCHEDULE The Chair noted that there is no modification to the fees this year. The Catch-up program will be permanent and not require renewal on an annual basis. On a Motion by Dave Labrie and seconded by Katherine Deschênes it was: RESOLVED THAT the fee schedule be accepted as presented. Motion carried as evidenced by a virtual show of hands. 8. RESOLUTIONS

2019 Resolution #1 – Registration of Sires Marketed in Canada
The Chair reviewed Resolution #1 presented at the Club Brown Swiss Québec AGM. Resolution moved by Serge Bilodeau and seconded by Ian Peden WHEREAS more and more Brown Swiss sires are marketed in Canada; WHEREAS such sires are in the CDN system, but not necessarily in Brown Swiss Canada’s; WHEREAS too often, we realize this discrepancy at the registration of the first offspring in the Herdbook, i.e. almost one (1) year after the doses arrived in Canada; BE IT RESOLVED THAT Brown Swiss Canada approach those who market these sires to ask them to officially register them in the Canadian system by providing: 1. Official pedigree 2. Microsatellite DNA (in accordance with ISAG) On a Motion by Dave Labrie and seconded by Serge Bilodeau, Resolution carried as evidenced by a virtual show of hands. 8.2 2020 Resolution #1 – Non-Publishable Data The Chair reviewed Resolution #2 presented by the Club Brown Swiss Québec. Resolution moved by Dave Labrie and seconded by Ariane Maltais WHEREAS a large number of herds are switching from official publishable DHI to regular non-publishable DHI; WHEREAS for genetic evaluations, non-publishable data carries equal weight to publishable data with the same number of tests; WHEREAS the parent average data is less reliable than the non-publishable data; WHEREAS non-publishable data would allow the identification of elite animals and the improvement of the breeds; WHEREAS Ayrshire Canada, Jersey Canada and Holstein Canada have taken steps to have the regulations changed; BE IT RESOLVED THAT Brown Swiss Canada join Holstein Canada, Ayrshire Canada, and Jersey Canada in order to have the regulations changed and that breed associations have access to non-publishable data. On a Motion by Stefan Gublemann and seconded by Renald Dumas Resolution carried as evidenced by a virtual show of hands. 8.3 2020 Resolution #2 – Membership Free for First Year The Chair reviewed Resolution #3 presented by the Club Brown Swiss Québec. Resolution moved by Dave Labrie and seconded by Ariane Maltais WHEREAS several Brown Swiss animals are sold in Canada, but not transferred to the new owners because they are not members of the Association; WHEREAS when a breeder is in the system, his membership is “automatically” renewed year after year; WHEREAS if we do not recruit these breeders/owners from the start, it is difficult to identify them and/or to follow up on them later on; WHEREAS there is no real loss of income in the first year of membership because 90% of the time, these new buyers do not become members and the only expenses incurred by the Association would be the postage fees for the Newsletter; WHEREAS the free membership year will not include voting rights and payment will be required in order to have voting rights; BE IT RESOLVED THAT Brown Swiss Canada give a free membership for the first year and for one time only to owners of Brown Swiss animals to ensure better follow-up. It was suggested and agreed that the free membership year not include voting rights for the following annual Annual Report 2021 Rapport annuel

general meeting. The Resolution was amended as follows: On a Motion by Ken Drummond and seconded by Serge Bilodeau it was: BE IT RESOLVED THAT Resolution #2 is amended that the free membership year will not include voting rights and payment will be required in order to have voting rights. On a Motion by Dave Labrie and seconded by Katherine Deschênes Resolution carried as evidenced by a virtual show of hands. 8.4 2020 Resolution #3 – New Members The Chair reviewed Resolution #4 presented by the Club Brown Swiss Québec. Resolution moved by Ariane Maltais and seconded by Renald Dumas WHEREAS in order to inform new members about Brown Swiss breed and the Association and therefore increase their sense of belonging; WHEREAS in order to give them pointers and contacts within the national and provincial associations; BE IT RESOLVED THAT Brown Swiss Canada send a breed information sheet with contact information and promotional tools in the new member’s province. On a Motion by Dave Labrie and seconded by Renald Dumas Resolution carried as evidenced by a virtual show of hands. 8.5 2020 Resolution #4 – Registration of Black Braunvieh The Chair reviewed Resolution #5 presented by Uèli Grob. Resolution moved by Ken Drummond and seconded by Serge Bilodeau WHEREAS Black Braunvieh from the USA are not eligible for registration in Canada BS and BA herdbook; WHEREAS considering some Canadian Braunvieh breeders are registering their Black Braunvieh and some original Braunvieh in the American herdbook. BE IT RESOLVED to allow Braunvieh producers to enter Black Braunvieh animals into the Canadian system at 0% purity in order to allow progeny to be upgraded based on the upgrading rules of the Association as stated in 20.3 of the by-laws. Motion defeated. Comments both for and against the Resolution were tabled. Highlights were noted as follows: Black Braunvieh Resolution – It was noted that the Resolution should not take anything away from the original Braunvieh. Adding black strain would not diminish anything that that has been achieved in the past. If the Association starts at 0% and slowly upgrades, this will help the breeders in terms of export and imports from American markets. U. Grob has originals and would like to be able to export to the USA and there is a demand for blacks and some smaller markets for the originals. U. Grob has both strains, but does not want to mix them. Now the DNA is available, it is possible that the original is not strayed from; it is time to consider adding this strain. The resolution is not taking away from the original and suggests allowing a black to be listed on the pedigree with 0% purity. The USA Braunvieh herdbook is not recognized in Canada. Some animals that have been imported and it is desired to add into the Canada herdbook at 0%. On a Motion by Ken Drummond and seconded by Serge Bilodeau Resolution vote was tied as evidenced by a virtual show of hands and will be brought to the next Annual General Meeting for further discussion. 9. SPECIAL RECONGNITIONS The Chair presented special recognitions, noting the 2019 Master Breeder was the Nor Bella Acres, The McConnell Family and they were also recognized as the 2020 Top Composite BCA Cow. producers. 10. GUEST SPEAKER – LACTANET Neil Petreny, CEO of Lactanet, delivered a presentation that included a Robotics Update, eDHI Service, Selective Dry Cow Therapy, Breeding and Genomics Testing Trends and Lactanet’s new resolutions process. Mr. Petreny introduced Lactanet’s Board of Directors. In response to a query, Neil Petreny noted that the resolutions will be discussed at the July and September 2021 Board meeting and action presented back in the fall. The Chair thanked Neil Petreny for joining the meeting and his informative presentation. 11. LOCATION OF NEXT ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING The Chair asked for a motion to confirm the location of the 2022 annual general meeting. On a Motion by Ken Drummond and seconded by Sylvain Boulanger, it was: RESOLVED THAT the location of the 2022 Annual General Meeting will be held in Ontario in person if possible. Motion carried as evidenced by a virtual show of hands. 12. OTHER BUSINESS The Chair asked the members if there was any other business to bring to the meeting. No other business was tabled. The Chair acknowledged Semex as the meeting sponsor. The staff and translation service providers were thanked. 13. TERMINATION OF MEETING There being no further business brought before the meeting, the Chair requested a Motion to conclude the meeting. On a Motion by Stefan Gublemann and seconded by Sylvain Boulanger it was: RESOLVED THAT the Annual General Meeting of The Canadian Brown Swiss and Braunvieh Association be concluded. Motion carried as evidenced by a virtual show of hands. The meeting was concluded at 1:47 p.m.

MOT DE BIENVENUE ET OUVERTURE DE LA RÉUNION L’avis de cette assemblée générale annuelle virtuelle a été envoyé le 1er mai 2021 à tous les membres inscrits par voie électronique, conformément aux Statuts de l’Association. Le président indique que 17 membres sont représentés, soit par procuration, soit par leur participation directe au webinaire. La réunion est officiellement ouverte à 11 h 13. Sue Robertson de MinuteTakers Inc. est nommée secrétaire de séance officielle à des fins de rédaction du procès-verbal, aucune objection n’est notée à cet égard. 2. APPROBATION DE L’ORDRE DU JOUR Le président de séance demande s’il y a des ajouts ou des amendements à l’ordre du jour. Sur motion proposée par Serge Bilodeau et appuyée par Dave Labrie, il est : RÉSOLU QUE l’ordre du jour est approuvé tel que présenté. Motion adoptée par levée de mains virtuelles. 3. PROCÈS-VERBAL DE LA PRÉCÉDENTE ASSEMBLÉE GÉNÉRALE ANNUELLE Le président de séance informe les propriétaires que le procès-verbal de la précédente assemblée générale annuelle organisée le 29 mars 2019 a été communiqué en même temps que l’avis de convocation à l’assemblée générale annuelle. Sur motion proposée par Serge Bilodeau et appuyée par Dave Labrie, il est : RÉSOLU QUE le procès-verbal de l’Assemblée générale annuelle de l’Association canadienne Suisse Brune et Braunvieh organisée le 29 mars 2019 est approuvé et vérifié tel que présenté. Motion adoptée par levée de mains virtuelles. 4. AFFAIRES DÉCOULANT DU PROCÈS-VERBAL 2019 Le président de séance énonce les points saillants des activités de l’Association de la précédente assemblée générale annuelle. On indique que trois résolutions avaient été approuvées. On fait une mise à jour sur les Statuts. En raison des restrictions de la COVID-19, l’Ontario n’a pas pu accueillir l’assemblée générale annuelle en 2020. La Conférence mondiale Suisse Brune 2020 a été annulée. On espère que la Conférence sera programmée en 2020 à Madison au Wisconsin. Une question est posée sur un animal américain et le statut publiable; le conseil d’administration indique qu’aucun autre incident n’a été signalé jusqu’à présent. Aucune question n’est posée sur le rapport. 5. RAPPORT DU PRÉSIDENT Dave Rousseau présente son rapport de président; une copie avait été envoyée aux membres avant la réunion (en page 5 du rapport annuel). 6. QUESTIONS D’ORDRE FINANCIER Résumé des États financiers Shirley Dortmans fait une mise à jour financière pour l’exercice fiscal 2020 tel que fourni par RLB; en voici les points saillants : (a) Revenu : 68 218 $ (b) Dépenses : 49 744 $ (c) Excédent – L’Association termine l’exercice avec un excédent de 18 474 $ (d) COVID-19 – L’Association n’a pas eu de baisse majeure des revenus et les dépenses sont comparables à 2019. L’Association n’a pas de charges salariales ni de réduction de revenu et n’a donc pas été éligible aux subventions gouvernementales en lien avec la COVID-19. 6.2 Approbation du rapport financier Sur motion proposée par Shannon Drummond et appuyée par Dave Labrie, il est : RÉSOLU QUE le rapport financier 2020 préparé par RLB, comptables professionnels agréés est approuvé tel que présenté. Motion adoptée par levée de mains virtuelles. 6.3 Nomination des comptables Sur motion proposée par Ken Drummond et appuyée par Dave Labrie, il est : RÉSOLU QUE le cabinet de comptables professionnels agréés RLB soit reconduit dans ses fonctions de comptable de l’Association canadienne Suisse Brune et Braunvieh jusqu’à la prochaine assemblée générale annuelle. 8. RÉSOLUTIONS 8.1 Résolution 2019 n°1 – Enregistrement des taureaux commercialisés au Canada Le président passe en revue la 1re résolution présentée par le Club Brown Swiss du Québec. Résolution proposée par Serge Bilodeau et appuyée par Ian Peden. CONSIDÉRANT QU’il y a de plus en plus de taureaux Brown Swiss commercialisés au Canada; CONSIDÉRANT QUE ces taureaux sont dans le système de CDN, mais pas nécessairement dans celui de Brown Swiss Canada; CONSIDÉRANT QUE, trop souvent, on s’aperçoit de ce manque seulement lors de l’enregistrement de la première descendance dans le livre généalogique, soit pratiquement un (1) an après l’arrivée des doses au Canada. Il est proposé de demander à Brown Swiss Canada de faire les démarches auprès de ceux qui commercialisent ces taureaux afin que les taureaux soient officiellement enregistrés dans le système canadien en fournissant : 1Le pedigree officiel 2ADN microsatellite (selon les critères ISAG) Sur résolution proposée par Dave Labrie et appuyée par Serge Bilodeau. Il est proposé à Brown Swiss Canada de se joindre aux associations Holstein Canada, Ayrshire Canada et Jersey Canada afin de faire changer la réglementation et que les données non publiables soient accessibles aux associations de races. CONSIDÉRANT QUE plusieurs animaux Brown Swiss sont vendus au Canada, mais que les transferts ne sont pas faits, car le nouveau propriétaire n’est pas membre de l’association; CONSIDÉRANT QUE lorsqu’un éleveur est dans le système, son membership se renouvelle « automatiquement » année après année; CONSIDÉRANT QUE si nous n’accrochons pas ces éleveurs / propriétaires dès le début, il est difficile par la suite de les identifier et/ou de faire un suivi; CONSIDÉRANT QUE la première année n’est pas réellement une perte de revenu, car ces nouveaux acheteurs ne prennent pas leur membership dans 90 % des cas et que les seules dépenses pour l’association seraient l’envoi du Bulletin. Il est proposé à Brown Swiss Canada d’offrir le membership gratuit pour la première année et pour une seule fois seulement aux propriétaires d’animaux Brown Swiss afin d’assurer un meilleur suivi. Il est suggéré et on s’accorde sur le fait que l’année de membership gratuit n’inclue pas de droit de vote à l’assemblée générale annuelle suivante. La résolution est modifiée comme suit : Sur motion proposée par Ken Drummond et appuyée par Serge Bilodeau, il est : RÉSOLU QUE la résolution n°2 soit amendée afin que l’année de membership gratuit n’inclue pas le droit de vote et que le paiement soit requis afin d’obtenir le droit de vote. Il est proposé à Brown Swiss Canada d’envoyer un document d’information sur la race avec les coordonnées des personnes-ressources et les outils de promotions de la province du nouveau membre. Motion adoptée par levée de mains virtuelles 8.5 Résolution 2020 n°4 – Enregistrement des Braunvieh noires Le président passe en revue la 5e résolution présentée par Uèli Grob. Résolution proposée par Ken Drummond et appuyée par Serge Bilodeau. CONSIDÉRANT QUE les Braunvieh noires des É.-U. ne sont pas éligibles à l’enregistrement au livre généalogique canadien Suisse Brune et Braunvieh CONSIDÉRANT QUE certains éleveurs canadiens de Braunvieh enregistrent leurs Braunvieh noires et certaines Braunvieh d’origine au livre généalogique américain. Il est par conséquent résolu de permettre aux producteurs Braunvieh de faire entrer leurs animaux Braunvieh noirs dans le système canadien avec un niveau de pureté de 0 % afin de permettre que le niveau de leur progéniture soit amélioré conformément aux règles de l’Association énoncées à l’article 20.3 des Statuts. Motion rejetée. Les commentaires pour et contre la résolution sont présentés, en voici les points saillants : Résolution sur l’enregistrement des Braunvieh noires – On indique que la résolution ne devrait rien enlever à la race Braunvieh d’origine. L’ajout de la souche noire ne diminuerait en rien ce qui a été accompli dans le passé. Si l’Association commence à 0 % et améliorer les animaux lentement, cela aidera les éleveurs en termes d’exportation et d’importation à partir du marché américain. U. Grob possède des Braunvieh d’origine et aimerait pouvoir les exporter vers les États-Unis où il y a une demande pour les Braunvieh noires et de plus petits marchés pour les Braunvieh d’origine. U. Grob possède les deux souches, mais il ne souhaite pas les mélanger. Maintenant que l’ADN est disponible, il est possible qu’on ne s’éloigne pas de la Braunvieh d’origine; il est temps d’envisager d’ajouter cette souche. La résolution n’enlève rien aux Braunvieh d’origine et suggère de permettre que les Braunvieh noires soient listées sur le pedigree avec un niveau de pureté de 0 %. Le livre généalogique Braunvieh des États-Unis n’est pas reconnu au Canada. Certains animaux ont été importés et on souhaite les ajouter au livre généalogique canadien avec une pureté de 0 %. RECONNAISSANCES SPÉCIALES Le président de séance présente les reconnaissances spéciales : la famille McConnell de Nor Bella Acres est Maître-éleveur 2019; ce troupeau est également récompensé pour avoir la meilleure vache MCE combinée 2020. Le président de séance félicite tous les producteurs. 10. CONFÉRENCIER INVITÉ – LACTANET Neil Petreny, chef de la direction de Lactanet, fait une présentation avec une mise à jour sur la robotique, le service eDHI, la thérapie sélective des vaches taries, les tendances d’élevage et de testage génomique et le nouveau processus de résolutions de Lactanet. M. Petreny présente le conseil d’administration de Lactanet. En réponse à une question, Neil Petreny indique que les résolutions seront discutées lors des réunions du conseil d’administration de juillet et de septembre 2021, et que les actions seront présentées à l’automne. Le président de séance remercie Neil Petreny de sa participation à la réunion et de sa présentation instructive. 11. LIEU DE LA PROCHAINE ASSEMBLÉE GÉNÉRALE ANNUELLE Le président de séance demande une motion pour confirmer l’emplacement de l’assemblée générale annuelle 2022. 2021 RESOLUTIONS / PROPOSITIONS DE RÉSOLUTIONS RESOLUTION 1: RETURN TO THE BRANCHES OF THE $2 WITHHOLDING ON CLASSIFICATION Proposed by the Brown Swiss Club of Quebec •
Considering that the $2 retained on the classification was initially for the promotion of the breed at the provincial level;
•
Considering that the club is proactive at the field level and promotes the classification to its members and that the only potential economic benefits are the $2 per classification.
It is proposed that Brown Swiss Canada return the $2.00 on the classification of animals to each provincial club. RÉSOLUTION 1: RETOUR AUX BRANCHES DU 2$ RETENUE SUR LA CLASSIFICATION Proposé par le Club Brown Swiss du Québec •
Considérant que le 2$ retenue sur la classification, était initialement pour la promotion de la race aux niveaux des provinces;
•
Considérant que le club est proactif au niveau du champ et fait la promotion de la classification auprès de ses membres et que les seules retombées économiques potentielles sont les 2$ par classification.
Il est proposé que Brown Swiss Canada retourne le 2$ sur la classification des animaux à chaque club provincial.
RESOLUTION 2: RETURN OF THE 5$ WITHHOLDING ON GENOTYPING TO THE BRANCHES Proposed by the Brown Swiss Club of Quebec •
Considering that the $5 withheld on genotyping was initially for the promotion of genomics;

Considering that the club is proactive at the field level and promotes genomics to its members and that the only potential economic benefits are the $5 per Genotyping.
