98TH OSCARS RED CARPET AND THE OSCAR GOES TO...

IN SEARCH OF REAL CRAFTSMANSHIP, CHARACTER, AND THE D’TOR STANDARD

HOLLYWOOD WEEKLY • 1

Letter From The Editor WELCOME READERS to another issue of Hollywood Weekly! Our feature story explores the making of Rules of Betrayal, a film built on discipline. Rooted in real events within the justice system, it examines power, loyalty, and the cost of truth. But what defines this project is not just its subject matter. It is the approach, no unnecessary noise. No overstatement. Just precision, structure, and a search for something increasingly hard to find: real excellence. That search led the filmmakers to Anjum Sandhu and the D’tor standard. For nearly three decades, Sandhu has built Bossini USA on a simple belief: quality must be real, or it is irrelevant. In a time when speed has replaced mastery and appearance has replaced substance, that philosophy has become powerful. What connects Rules of Betrayal and D’tor it is principle. Quality is not accidental. Discipline is not optional. And standards, once lowered, are difficult to restore. Yes, this issue still turns its gaze to the Oscars. The red carpet. The golden statues. The moments that define careers and captivate the world. It remains a celebration of excellence, and also a reflection of an industry in constant motion. And right now, Hollywood is moving in a new direction. Literally. For over a century, storytelling was built for the wide screen. Today, a new generation of filmmakers is crafting cinematic experiences for the device you hold in your hand. Faster shoots. Tighter scenes. A language designed for the swipe of a thumb. Hollywood has gone vertical, and across these pages, we explore what that shift means for the art and business of entertainment. As you flip through this issue, I hope you will find not just the glamour of awards season, but a deeper sense of where the industry has been, where it is going, and what endures when everything else falls away. Thank you, readers, for once again supporting Hollywood Weekly Magazine. We are nothing without you.

IN SEARCH OF REAL

CRAFTSMANSHIP, CHARACTER, AND THE D’TOR STANDARD There are moments in development when a project stops being just a film and becomes a search. During the early stages of Rules of Betrayal, that shift happened quietly. What began as location scouting and pre-production meetings evolved into something far more intentional - a pursuit of people, environments, and disciplines that still operate at a high level. Not marketed excellence. Real excellence.

fast recognition. Everything is optimized for speed and visibility. Very little is built to last.

In today’s world, that distinction matters.

That search for the real led our team to Bossini USA, to the D’tor concept, and to its founder, Anjum Sandhu.

We are surrounded by what can only be described as a “fast food” culture - fast content, fast fashion, fast success, 6 • HOLLYWOOD WEEKLY

And because of that, something interesting has happened: Real quality has become rare. And because it is rare, it has become powerful.

Not by accident. By alignment.

Rules of Betrayal: A Film Built on Discipline, Not Illusion Rules of Betrayal is not designed as background entertainment. It is built as a controlled, intentional piece of storytelling rooted in real events within the military justice system. At its core, the film explores power, institutional control, loyalty, and the cost of truth. It operates in the space between a modern action drama and a political thriller, with the tone of a procedural - precise, structured, and grounded. But what defines the project is not only the subject matter. It is the approach. As outlined in Haute Living, the film is structured as both a cinematic experience and a nationwide platform.

It is designed to discover new talent, develop young professionals, and create a system where participation is not symbolic - it is real. There is no illusion of opportunity. There is execution. That philosophy has shaped every decision around the film - from casting to partnerships to visual identity. The aesthetic direction leans toward restraint rather than excess. Navy blue, steel gray, controlled compositions. No unnecessary noise. No overstatement. Because the story itself does not need decoration. It needs clarity. And clarity requires discipline. That same discipline naturally extends into the people and environments the project chooses to engage with. Which is why the encounter with Bossini USA did not feel like an external collaboration. It felt like a continuation of the same standard.

has replaced mastery. Anjum Sandhu and Bossini Speed Availability has replaced exclusivity. Appearance has replaced substance. USA: Three Decades of D’tor rejects that. Quiet Authority For nearly thirty years, Bossini USA has operated in Silicon Valley with a very specific philosophy: do the work properly, and the reputation will follow. Located in Santa Clara, the boutique has built a loyal clientele of businessmen, entrepreneurs, professionals, and individuals who understand that presentation is not about showing off - it is about being precise. At the center of that operation is Anjum Sandhu. There is a noticeable difference when someone has spent decades in a craft. They do not rush. They do not oversell. They do not rely on trends. They rely on repetition, experience, and standards. Bossini USA reflects that mindset. The emphasis is not on volume. It is on fit, fabric, proportion, and consistency. European craftsmanship is not used as a marketing phrase - it is implemented through tailoring, material selection, and attention to detail that only becomes visible when you understand what you are looking at. In a region driven by technology, speed, and disruption, Bossini represents something almost counter-cultural: stability, refinement, and control. And that is precisely why it matters.

The D’tor Project: Restoring the Meaning of Quality The D’tor project was created as a response. Not to fashion itself, but to what fashion - and by extension, many industries - has become. 8 • HOLLYWOOD WEEKLY

It is built on a simple but demanding premise: quality must be real, or it is irrelevant. This is not about clothing alone. It is about standards. Because today, it is entirely possible to walk into a highend boutique and encounter a disconnect between image and expertise. There are environments where luxury is presented visually, but the knowledge behind it is fading. Situations where even technical fundamentals - like maintaining or repairing a product - are no longer present at the level they once were. That is not luxury. That is the presentation. D’tor draws a clear line between the two. It emphasizes craftsmanship, understanding, and the discipline required to maintain excellence over time. It positions quality not as a price point, but as a responsibility.

The People Who Carry the Standard

entire concept, representing decades of discipline in a world that increasingly avoids it.

To communicate that message, the project brought together a carefully selected group - not just for appearance, but for what each individual represents.

What connects Rules of Betrayal and the D’tor project is not industry.

Eunice Cintron brings composure, discipline, and presence shaped through competition and public leadership. Albina Asaturyan reflects precision and focus, with a strong sense of presentation and control. Vanessa Liu represents the modern fusion of performance and visual storytelling. On the gentlemen’s side, Alex Wang stands as a representative of the next generation - developing not only as an actor, but as a young professional learning to operate within high-level environments. Alongside him, Robert Cody and Victor Migalchan bring experience, structure, and a clear production philosophy that prioritizes execution over theory. At the center remains Anjum Sandhu - the anchor of the

A Shared Principle

It is the principle. Both are built on the understanding that: • Quality is not accidental • Discipline is not optional • And standards, once lowered, are difficult to restore In a time where speed dominates, choosing precision is a decision. In a time where noise dominates, choosing clarity is a discipline. And in a time where imitation is easy, choosing authenticity is a risk. But it is also the only path that creates something that lasts. Because in the end, whether in film, fashion, or life if it is not real, it does not hold. HOLLYWOOD WEEKLY • 9

Chris Gamper: Takes the Bay Area Sound Global with ZinggFlower Mondays Every Monday night in San Francisco, something special is happening inside the intimate walls of Biscuits & Blues. Musicians gather, instruments come alive, and a relaxed but electric energy fills the room. At the center of it all is drummer, producer, and bandleader Chris Gamper, who is turning a weekly gig into a global music experience. Gamper’s event, ZinggFlower Mondays, takes place from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. PST and is broadcast live through Alert The Globe, allowing audiences around the world to tune in and experience the Bay Area’s vibrant live music scene in real time. The concept is simple but powerful. Each week, Gamper invites a different artist or band from the Bay Area to perform in a relaxed, supportive environment. The goal is not just to put on a show. It is to create what Gamper calls a “burn space,” a place where musicians and listeners can recharge together through music. “ZinggFlower Mondays is a place for all of us to download after a busy weekend and recharge for the week ahead,” Gamper says. “Musicians need a safe space to be authentic, to connect with the community, and to just play.”

That community spirit is the heart of the night. The series was inspired by the late guitarist Drew Zingg and serves as a living tribute to his musical legacy. Each week, the lineup changes, bringing together some of the Bay Area’s most respected performers along with special guests. The result is an ever-evolving showcase of jazz, blues, funk, and improvisational music that reflects the region’s creative soul. While the atmosphere inside the club feels intimate, the event’s reach is global. Through Alert The Globe broadcasts, viewers from cities such as Las Vegas can discover the bands, the venue, and the authentic live music culture that San Francisco continues to nurture. Gamper’s vision goes even further. Every performance at ZinggFlower Mondays is recorded, and beginning in April, each band will have a single released across streaming platforms under the GamperDrums Live umbrella. The project will create a growing library of recordings that capture the raw energy of the performances and introduce new artists to listeners worldwide.

released in stereo last year and has drawn attention in jazz circles. A new immersive audio edition with additional tracks is now in development and will be submitted for Grammy consideration this year. Gamper is also an endorsed artist with Canopus Drums, a company headquartered in Las Vegas, strengthening the connection between the Bay Area music community and the entertainment capital of the world. For Gamper, however, the mission remains simple. Support the musicians. Support the venue. Share the music. Each Monday night, the message is the same. Welcome to the burn space. Feel the bloom.

The series is also connected to Gamper’s own recording work. His album ZinggFlower, named after the same weekly event, was

Music Without Borders: The Story Behind Alert The Globe Every great creative movement begins quietly, often far from the spotlight. For Alert The Globe, which began in 1975, a 19-year-old studio technician named Ron Garrett worked long nights at many of Hollywood’s legendary recording studios. Garrett quickly became immersed in the world of major recording musicians from The Rolling Stones and The Beatles to Barbra Streisand and Tool. In addition to keeping many of Hollywood’s legendary studios running, Garrett also assisted in recording albums for artists including Prince, Herb Alpert, Lani Hall, Yes, and Funkadelic, a background that underscores his deep roots in music production. One evening, Garrett found himself chatting with Ringo Starr. What began as lighthearted banter ended with Starr offering encouragement, telling the young engineer that someday he would do something big in the world. Garrett never forgot those words.

Surrounded by legendary studios on nearly every corner of Hollywood, Garrett spent years working alongside musicians who defined modern music. He developed lasting relationships with artists such as Waddy Wachtel, known for his work with Stevie Nicks, and Roy Bittan of Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band. These experiences shaped his understanding of what musicians truly need to thrive.

That idea led to the Morgan Streaming System, a lens-to-platform concept that allows artists to broadcast performances directly to audiences worldwide. When Garrett shared the vision with longtime musician friends, many joined the Alert The Globe Advisory Board, helping guide the platform’s growth.

Nearly four decades later, that lifetime of experience sparked an idea: to rethink how live music connects artists and audiences worldwide. In 2011, Garrett began developing what would become Alert The Globe, a live streaming platform created by musicians, for musicians. Unlike conventional streaming services, Alert The Globe was designed to serve performers first. Working alongside longtime Rolling Stones touring vocalist Bernard Fowler, Garrett engineered a system designed for what he calls POLM, or Places Of Live Music, including nightclubs, bars, and event centers. The goal was simple: remove the technical barriers so artists could focus on performing.

Since debuting at NAMM in 2016, Alert The Globe has grown into a trusted global platform for authentic, artist-first live streaming. Its upcoming livestream of Kendra Erika’s Las Vegas performance exemplifies the platform’s mission: uniting the world through music, one performance at a time.

A pivotal insight then came from Fowler’s daughter, Morgan. Why limit the technology to venues alone? Why not give every musician and band access to it?

At its core, Alert The Globe represents the fulfillment of a promise made long ago—offering musicians a platform built with empathy, experience, and creative integrity.

Relax Sauna: A Lifestyle Built on Light Once reserved for luxury spas, medical clinics, and elite wellness retreats, the sauna has quietly found its way into everyday living. But today’s sauna experience looks very different from its steamy predecessors. The shift stems from far-infrared technology, and Relax Sauna is at the forefront of this evolution. Traditional saunas rely on superheated air, often reaching temperatures near 180 degrees, warming the skin from the outside in. The experience can feel intense: heavy breathing, surfacelevel heat, and a gradual physiological response. Far infrared (FIR) changes that entirely. Instead of heating the surrounding air, FIR interacts directly with the body’s water molecules and cellular structures. The result is a deeper internal warmth delivered at lower ambient temperatures, creating a more comfortable, efficient, and restorative experience. This is where Relax Sauna separates itself from conventional infrared systems. While many infrared saunas use carbon or ceramic panels that emit across a wide spectrum of light, only a small fraction typically falls within the therapeutic range. Relax Sauna’s proprietary semiconductor

generators are engineered to focus energy precisely within the optimal 4 to 14 micron band, peaking near 9.4 microns, the frequency at which human cells absorb far infrared energy most effectively. The distinction may sound technical, but the effects are immediate. These generators reach full therapeutic heat in under a minute and deliver far infrared intensity exceeding 40 mW/cm², significantly higher than most panel-based systems. What that means in real terms is quicker sessions, deeper penetration, and a more biologically relevant interaction between light and body. That performance has not gone unnoticed. The Relax Sauna generators are FDA-registered as Class II Medical Devices, cleared for muscle relaxation, pain relief, and improved circulation, placing them in a rare category where wellness meets regulated medical technology. Yet what truly defines the Relax Sauna experience is not just the science. It is how seamlessly it integrates into daily life. Many users begin with a specific goal: easing chronic pain, accelerating recovery, improving circulation,

supporting detoxification, boosting energy, or reducing stress. Over time, something shifts. Sessions become less about treatment and more about ritual. The sauna becomes a transition space, a moment between activity and restoration. A quiet reset. Far infrared may be explained through physics such as wavelengths, emissivity, and cellular absorption, but its real value shows up in how the body responds: how quickly it unwinds, how deeply it relaxes, how naturally balance returns. In a culture driven by speed and constant output, Relax Sauna represents a different kind of luxury. Not excess, but equilibrium. Not noise, but presence. For Las Vegas residents and visitors alike, where high performance and high energy are part of the landscape, Relax Sauna offers something refreshingly rare: a private sanctuary powered by light, designed for restoration, and built for modern living. And for many, that balance is no longer an occasional indulgence. It is becoming a lifestyle.

One can experience the Relax Sauna at JouleFit, a Regenerative Wellness Center in Las Vegas, located at 950 S Durango, open 6 am to 9 pm daily. For more information, visit www.relaxsaunas.com 18 • HOLLYWOOD WEEKLY

Chris McGrew: Mastering the Art of the Perfect DrumSound

In the world of music production, the drums are more than just rhythm. They are the pulse of a song, the energy that drives a track forward and gives it life. For drummer, engineer, and drum tracking specialist Chris McGrew, shaping that pulse has become both a craft and a calling. A respected figure in the Bay Area music scene for decades, McGrew has built a reputation not only as a powerful drummer but also as a specialist in drum recording, tuning, and sound design. His work bridges the gap between musician and engineer, allowing him to approach each recording session with a rare dual perspective. For McGrew, the drum sound begins long before the recording button is pressed. “Great drum tracks start with the instrument itself,” is a philosophy reflected throughout his work. Selecting the right kit, tuning each drum to match the key and energy of a song, and carefully shaping the sound of the room are all part of the process. Working as a partner and producer/ engineer at Wally’s HydeOut (Studio C at the legendary Hyde Street Studios) has enabled McGrew to deliver his work from one of the

finest drum tracking rooms ever built. Within this iconic space, he has refined a methodical yet creative approach to drum tracking. His philosophy centers on capturing the best possible sound at the source, rather than relying heavily on digital manipulation later. Drum tuning is one of McGrew’s specialties and an often overlooked skill in modern recording. He treats each drum as a musical instrument that must resonate within the arrangement. A snare might be tuned higher to cut through a dense mix, while a kick drum may be adjusted for deeper resonance to anchor the groove. Every adjustment is intentional and designed to serve the music. Beyond tuning, McGrew’s expertise extends to microphone placement, acoustic balance, and drum selection. His collection of kits, snares, and cymbals allows him to craft tones that range from vintage warmth to modern punch, giving artists a sound tailored specifically to their style. McGrew’s passion for drums extends beyond recording sessions. He has launched a new platform that showcases his process in real time. The project, called Drum Habit, is both a brand and an educational experience

highlighting the artistry behind drum tracking. Streaming once a month on AlertTheGlobe.com, Drum Habit offers viewers something rarely seen in the music world: a live, unedited broadcast of a professional drum recording session. The show allows audiences to watch McGrew build a drum track from start to finish, demonstrating how he selects drums, tunes them, places microphones, and performs the final take. Unlike heavily edited studio content often found online, Drum Habit presents the process exactly as it happens. Viewers witness the real decisions that shape a recording session, offering a rare window into the craft of professional drum production. As both a performer and recording specialist, Chris McGrew continues to push the boundaries of modern drum production. Whether laying down grooves in the studio, crafting the perfect drum tone, or teaching viewers through Drum Habit, his work reinforces a truth musicians have long understood: when the drums are right, everything else falls into place.

Kelly Vohnn: A Voice That Commands the Vegas Spotlight In a city built on spectacle, few performers manage to stand out through sheer talent alone. Yet in Las Vegas, where marquee lights and world-class productions compete for attention nightly, Kelly Vohnn has carved out a distinctive place as a powerhouse vocalist and magnetic live entertainer. Originally from Toronto, Canada, Vohnn’s artistic journey began early, shaped by formal vocal training and years of performance experience. That foundation evolved into a multifaceted career spanning singing, acting, impersonation, and largescale tribute productions. Today, she is recognized not only for her commanding voice but also for her ability to connect emotionally with audiences—an increasingly rare quality in modern entertainment. Vohnn has become especially celebrated for her interpretations of iconic artists such as Dolly Parton and Reba McEntire, delivering performances that honor their legacies while adding her own signature warmth and authenticity. She also pays homage to Barbra Streisand,

capturing both the musical precision and emotional depth that made Streisand a legend. Kelly has sung backing vocals for Barbra Streisand and has sung alongside Mickey Thomas of Jefferson Starship, Lou Gramm of Foreigner, and Bobby Kimball of Toto. Still, longtime fans know that Kelly Vohnn shines brightest when performing as herself—something she has done internationally for decades. Her impact on the entertainment world has earned her multiple accolades, including the Silver State Award for Best Entertainer in Nevada, Entertainer of the Year in Nashville, and Canadian Artist of the Year. These honors reflect more than vocal excellence; they speak to her consistency, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to delivering unforgettable live experiences. Behind the scenes, Vohnn is equally creative. Through multimedia collaborations and international projects—such as her work with France-based Duo Maintenant—she continues to explore new musical territories, from jazz to global fusion.

This artistic flexibility underscores her belief in continual evolution, a philosophy she once literally embodied in the production EVOLVE. What truly sets Vohnn apart is her personal approach to performance. She works closely with event planners, producers, and fellow artists to tailor each show to its audience, whether she’s headlining a major stage production or creating an intimate private event experience. “The most rewarding element to performing is leaving the audience with an experience they won’t forget,” she says—a sentiment clearly reflected in her work. Looking ahead, 2026 promises to be a landmark year. Vohnn stars in the upcoming film Velvet and Vengeance, arriving this May, a dual creative project developed alongside Music Director Jeffery Bryan and Film Director C. G. Ryche. She also appears in the original musical Esme, set for release in April, further expanding her reach across both music and film.

With a career defined by versatility, heart, and relentless passion, Kelly Vohnn represents the best of Las Vegas entertainment: glamorous yet grounded, powerful yet personal. Jason “Malletman” Taylor The Rhythm Guardian of Real Music Las Vegas has always been a city where music legends take center stage, and today it is home to a performer determined to keep the spirit of live musicianship alive. Vibraphonist, producer, and creative visionary Jason “Malletman” Taylor has built a career rooted in rhythm, soul, and authenticity, earning a reputation as one of the most passionate advocates for what he proudly calls “real music.” Originally from Brooklyn, New York, Taylor’s journey into music began at an early age. Like many musicians, his first love was the drums, but everything changed when he discovered the vibraphone, the luminous percussion instrument made famous by jazz legend Lionel Hampton. The sound captivated him, and he dedicated himself to mastering the instrument, eventually studying with and performing alongside Hampton. Becoming a protégé of Lionel Hampton placed Taylor in rare musical company and gave him a front-row seat to the artistry and showmanship that defined one of jazz’s most iconic performers. Touring with Hampton’s band helped Taylor refine his style and build a career spanning genres and decades. Over the years, Taylor has shared stages with an impressive roster of artists, including Earth, Wind & Fire, Isaac Hayes, and Paquito D’Rivera, blending jazz, funk, R&B, and soul into a distinctive sound he calls “vibrafunk.” His performances

reflect the tradition of live musicianship that Taylor believes remains the heart of great music. Taylor’s vision extends beyond the stage. As an entrepreneur and creative force, he founded Mallet Records, Inc., a label dedicated to supporting authentic musicianship and artists who prioritize live performance. Throughout his career, he has hosted concerts, produced recordings, and led educational programs to inspire the next generation of musicians. Now based in Las Vegas, Taylor is entering an exciting new chapter. He recently completed a two-year residency at the Fontainebleau, a milestone that further established his presence in the city’s entertainment landscape. His growing reputation has also led to appearances at the internationally renowned NAMM Show, where he continues to showcase his artistry while connecting with musicians and industry leaders.

Building on that momentum, Taylor is expanding his creative universe with a comic book titled “Malletman: Headquarters to Save Real Music.” The character reflects his mission to protect the soul of music while reminding audiences that rhythm, creativity, and live performance still matter. Fans will soon see the concept come to life. Taylor is preparing a special live show on September 5, 2026, at the Charleston Heights Arts Center, where audiences will experience the Malletman vision through music, storytelling, and a dynamic performance built around his vibraphone sound. In a city built on spectacle and reinvention, Jason “Malletman” Taylor continues to prove that authentic musicianship still captivates audiences. Through his performances and creative projects, he is keeping the rhythm of real music alive in Las Vegas.

AMONG THE OFFERINGS: The Collective Las Vegas offers two packages, including “A New Hope” Elopement, an intentionally timed, 4:04 p.m. ceremony featuring themed vows, a lightsaber arch exit, “The Force Binds Them” unity ritual and a desert backdrop evoking a galaxy far, far away. Priced at $1,977 to match the year the original film was released. The “Imperial Luxury Wedding” Premium Experience provides a larger-format celebration for up to 75 guests including a full reception, galaxy ceiling projections, “Binary Sunset” ceremony music and themed cocktails.

and fog effects, limousine service, full multimedia documentation and the couple’s name in lights on their jumbo Las Vegas Boulevard marquee—turning the ceremony into a shareable moment for couples and their guests back home.

Cactus Collective Weddings is offering an exclusive wedding package available for just four couples, who will be whisked away to a cinematic dry Nevada lakebed for a one-day, highly curated elopement inspired by sci-fi romance. The setting includes sculptural white pillars, modern white florals and a custom narrative vow exchange officiated by a character-inspired “galactic royal” minister.

“Las Vegas removes the friction from wedding planning while adding a level of creativity that’s hard to replicate anywhere else,” added Goya. “Whether it’s a themed celebration, a luxury event or a spontaneous elopement, we continue to exemplify what a destination wedding can be.”

For many couples, these themed ceremonies provide a built-in guest experience—something Las Vegas excels at delivering—while simplifying logistics through inclusive packages and a streamlined marriage license process.

The Little Vegas Chapel’s “Yoda One For Me” package is popular with couples seeking a playful but polished experience, combining costuming, curated music, professional photography and extended photo sessions folded into a compact destination wedding format.

With its blend of accessibility, value, cultural relevance and an enormous range of price points suited for every couple, Las Vegas remains unmatched in its ability to turn moments on the calendar into reasons to celebrate and excuses to enjoy a getaway. For couples this May 4, the Force may be strong, but the pull of Las Vegas is even stronger.

Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel offers a theatrical “Intergalactic Force Package” featuring a Darth Vader officiant, complete with themed décor and vows, smoke

Kendra Erika: License to Thrill Signals the Start of a Bold New Era original music inspired by the world of espionage. The project reveals a bold new dimension for the artist who first gained international attention with her No. 1 Billboard Dance Club hit, “Self Control,” a sleek reinvention of the Laura Branigan classic. Born and raised in Boca Raton, Florida, Kendra blends East Coast musical roots with the polish she developed after moving west. That mix has helped shape a versatile sound that moves effortlessly between pop, dance, jazz, and classic vocal storytelling.

On February 15, the lights dimmed inside The Space Las Vegas as audiences stepped into a world of cinematic glamour, intrigue, and timeless music. When acclaimed singer and Billboard chart artist Kendra Erika took the stage to debut License to Thrill – The James Bond Songbook, it was clear something special had arrived. The evening marked the live debut of Kendra’s Bond-inspired concert experience, blending sweeping arrangements, striking visuals, and her signature velvet vocals. More than a tribute, the production felt like stepping into a modern Bond film. By the end of the show, the audience was on its feet, confirming it as one of the season’s standout musical debuts.

While her earlier success energized dance floors around the world, License to Thrill represents a striking artistic evolution. The show leans into cinematic storytelling, lush orchestration, and the sophistication long associated with the Bond legacy. Through dramatic arrangements and immersive visuals, Kendra guides audiences through decades of iconic film music while making each song distinctly her own. Behind the scenes, the production is driven by an impressive creative team. Grammy-winning producer

and musical director Myron McKinley, longtime keyboardist for Earth, Wind & Fire, leads the musical arrangements. Kendra also collaborated with hit songwriter Damon Sharpe on original music that expands the Bond-inspired concept with fresh emotional depth. The visual world is equally compelling. Visual director Tolga Katas created imagery inspired by the Bond era, while technical director Julian Miranda helped shape the stage production, giving the show a polished, cinematic flow from beginning to end. Following its successful Las Vegas debut, momentum continues to build. Kendra’s next performance is set for May 9 at the Composers Room in Las Vegas, with additional dates and touring opportunities in the works. For Kendra Erika, License to Thrill is more than a concert. It marks the beginning of a bold new era where timeless music, cinematic storytelling, and modern artistry come together on stage. Las Vegas was only the opening scene.

I often read scripts, to feed my mind and to evolve constantly. Screenwriters that I do admire is academy award winner Ryan Coogler, and not to forget the legacy of the unforgettable screenwriter from the 20th century “Frances Marion” who used writing as her voice to be heard. Paris Internationale Milano Announces Participating Galleries Paris Internationale Milano announces the 34 galleries participating in the first edition of the fair outside France, taking place in Milan from 18–21 April 2026, with a VIP Preview on 17 April, at Palazzo Galbani on Via Fabio Filzi. Taking place during Milano Art Week and in the opening days of Milano Design Week, Paris Internationale Milano brings together an international selection of galleries whose programmes reflect the fair’s curatorial identity: an independent platform that places emerging artistic practices in dialogue with more established research, creating a space for exchange between different generations, geographies, and sensibilities across the contemporary art scene. Selected for the clarity and ambition of their programs, the participating galleries includes long standing members of the Paris Internationale community such as Ciaccia Levi (Paris/ Milan), Crèvecœur (Paris), Deborah Schamoni (Munich), Gregor Staiger (Zurich/Milan), Stereo (Warsaw), and Veda (Milan) alongside galleries joining the fair for the first time, including Emanuela Campoli (Paris/Milan), Jocelyn Wolff (Paris), Kaufmann Repetto (Milan/New York), Luisa Delle Piane (Milan), and Sylvia Kouvali (London/Piraeus). 26 • HOLLYWOOD WEEKLY

Faithful to its curatorial approach, Paris Internationale privileges ambitious presentations, often dedicated to one or two artists and conceived as fully fledged exhibition projects. This format encourages a slower, more attentive viewing experience and allows galleries to develop coherent and sophisticated proposals, in which works enter into dialogue with one another and with the space, fostering direct exchange between artists, gallerists, and audiences. In this context, participating galleries present a range of projects that reflect the diversity of practices, research, and generations shaping the international art scene today. The selection unfolds through a series of focused formats conceived as dialogues and singular presentations, with highlights including Leonora Carrington with Galerie 1900–2000 (Paris), Prinz Gholam with Jocelyn Wolff (Paris), Caroline Bachmann and Walter Pfeiffer with Gregor Staiger (Zurich/Milan), and Lou Masduraud with Mezzanin (Geneva). Emanuela Campoli (Paris/ Milan) will present a major, museum

scale work by Nick Mauss in relation with Benni Bosetto, further articulating the fair’s attention to ambitious, exhibition-like formats. Among the artists presented, Crèvecœur (Paris) foregrounds Martine Bedin, a founding member of the Memphis group, while Deborah Schamoni (Munich) presents Maria VMier and Nicole Wermers. Ibuki Inoue is presented by Ciaccia Levi (Paris/Milan), and Tomasz Kręcicki by Stereo (Warsaw), reinforcing the fair’s engagement with a new generation of artists. The programme also includes a dialogue between Gaetano Pesce and Giovanni De Francesco with Luisa Delle Piane (Milan), and Renato Spagnoli, presented jointly by Laveronica (Modica) and Gian Marco Casini (Livorno). Further contributions include Alek O. and Santo Tolone with Martina Simeti (Milan), David Medalla with Mountains (Berlin), and a dialogue between the historical artist Anna Zemánková and Samuel Haitz, jointly presented by Sophie Tappeiner (Vienna) and Triangolo (Cremona).

Alongside the gallery presentations, Special Projects unfold throughout the building as siteresponsive interventions. Conceived as moments of focus within the exhibition parcours, they expand the traditional fair format and reinforce Paris Internationale’s commitment to experimentation. Highlights include projects by Anthea Hamilton (Kaufmann Repetto, Milan/ New York), Ambra Castagnetti (Francesca Minini, Milan), Anna Franceschini (Vistamare, Milan/ Pescara), as well as presentations dedicated to Lee Scratch Perry (suns. works, Zurich) and Robert Mapplethorpe (Franco Noero, Turin). Keteleer (Antwerp) and Lia Rumma (Milan/Naples) also present a joint project by Luca Monterastelli, while Ordet (Milan) will present a new series of photographs by Cosima von Bonin. Paris Internationale Milano is hosted in the spaces of Palazzo Galbani, a modernist building constructed between 1956 and 1959 to a design by the brothers Eugenio and Ermenegildo Soncini key figures in post-war Milanese architecture with structural engineering by Pier Luigi Nervi. The building is currently undergoing a conservation led restoration overseen by the Milan based architecture studio Park. The fair’s exhibition design is developed in collaboration with the Swiss architecture studio Christ & Gantenbein, which has been working with Paris Internationale since 2022

to shape its spatial identity. For this edition, Christ & Gantenbein, together with local designers NM3, developed a custom made system, continuing their previous common work on temporary fair designs. Banca Ifis is an Associate Partner of Paris Internationale with the brand Ifis art, created in 2024. Founded in Paris in 2015 by a group of gallerists, Paris Internationale is today an inde- pendent non-profit platform that promotes an alternative model of art fair: more focused, curatorial in approach, and attentive to the needs of artists and art professionals. Along- side the gallery presentations, Paris Internationale is, as usual, accompanied by a series of special collaborations that give rise to a rich public program. During the days of the fair, audiences are

invited to take part in talks, panels and workshops, as well as the Daily Derives, a program of guided visits led by guest contributors. Together, these initiatives broaden the fair’s perspective and reinforce its role as a platform for encounter and exchange within the contemporary art scene. Billboards Inc.: Turning Visibility into Storytelling in Las Vegas and Beyond In a city built on spectacle, signage, and nonstop motion, visibility isn’t just marketing, it’s currency. Las Vegas understands this better than anywhere, which makes it the perfect backdrop for Billboards Inc., the reality series redefining outdoor advertising through entrepreneurship, creativity, and real-world hustle. Streaming now, the series follows four driven founders as they launch a modern billboard marketing agency from the ground up, navigating client campaigns, internal growing pains, and the relentless pace of building a business in today’s attention economy. Led by producer and creative force Deana Mollé, alongside partners Will Holmes, an executive at Billboard, and JennaLee Massey, CEO of Billboard Inc., the seriesoffers an authentic look at what it takes to turn big ideas into bold visibility. Unlike glossy reality formats centered on celebrity lifestyles, Billboards Inc. focuses on the builders and entrepreneurs working behind the scenes to elevate brands, support independent businesses, and create meaningful campaigns that resonate far beyond a single impression. Viewers see firsthand how strategy meets creativity as the team crafts billboard placements, mobile activations, and experiential moments designed to spark connection in crowded markets. The show also highlights how outdoor advertising has evolved. Billboards today aren’t static signs; they’re dynamic platforms that tell stories in real time, reaching millions while adapting instantly to culture, events, and audience engagement. From digital displays to mobile LED trucks, the series 34 • HOLLYWOOD WEEKLY

showcases how modern out-of-home advertising blends technology with human connection. That approach is currently on display through one of the company’s most visible activations: a high-impact billboard placement on Flamingo Road just west of Dean Martin Drive, a prime Las Vegas corridor delivering more than two million impressions, spotlighting recording artist Kendra Erika following the release of her new album. The campaign extends beyond static signage, with a branded mobile LED truck that rolled through Los Angeles during the Grammy Awards and is scheduled to return to Hollywood in March for the Academy Awards, bringing Billboards Inc.’s storytelling approach directly into the heart of the entertainment season. It’s this blend of culture, commerce, and community that sets the series apart. Episodes also explore the company’s grassroots initiatives, including cross-country mobile billboard tours and campaigns supporting nonprofits, small businesses, and emerging creatives, reinforcing the idea that visibility can be both powerful and purposeful. For Las Vegas audiences, Billboards Inc. feels especially at home. The city’s iconic visual landscape mirrors the show’s core philosophy:

bold messaging matters, timing is everything, and impact is measured not just in impressions, but in emotional connection. At its heart, Billboards Inc. is a celebration of modern entrepreneurship — where creativity meets courage, and every billboard becomes a stage. In a world overflowing with screens, the series reminds us that being seen still matters and how you tell your story matters even more.

AI + EI = Marketing Success! Got Emotional Intelligence? By Melanie Rembrandt AI, or artificial intelligence, is a great research tool that provides information fast. But if you want your content to actually get results that prompt your targeted audience members to take action (schedule an appointment, register for your newsletter, buy your products and services, etc.), you need another imperative element to stand out from the competition and all of the digital noise out there. People buy products and services from others they “know, like and trust.” And the only way to create this valuable relationship is to relate to people on a human level. This involves sharing feelings, thoughts, and stories that are in your head… all data that AI cannot access. For example, it has no idea about the funny thing that your son said at the grocery store on Saturday or how you feel about winning a local charity award. This emotional intelligence, or EI, is what is necessary to build human relationships.

EI is the valuable information that makes you unique and gives you a competitive edge. “AI can process information at scale, but it cannot exercise judgment, empathy, or moral responsibility,” states Dhairya Jani, founder of Jani Law PLLC. “In my experience, whether in government service or private practice, the hardest decisions are never solved by data alone. They require listening, emotional awareness, and principled judgment. Technology is a powerful tool, but emotional intelligence turns information into wise action.” Your audience wants to buy from a real person who cares about what they sell, so be sure to include the key element of EI in your marketing messages. Share emails, social media, and articles that share personal stories and provide insights relevant to the latest news and trends in your industry. Offer press releases, newsletters, and other content that discuss

subjects your audience members care about. Also, track results, so you know what media works best and the topics that are most popular.

This way, they’ll see you as a real human being and not just a business or practice selling something. You’ll: • Boost credibility and your reputation as an expert in the process. • Grab the attention of potential clients, patients and customers who will tell their friends about you. • Enjoy a competitive edge no one can touch because you’re sharing personal insights. Focus on EI in your messaging now and track results. (If you don’t know how to do this, hire an experienced copywriting and PR expert who can help you.) Then, get ready to boost your customer base and sell more products and services fast!
