PR stands for Public Relations. Essentially our role in the event organisation and execution is to make sure that the public and industry have a positive impression of Studio 204. A lot of what we will be doing is public facing and ensuring that the people and brands which we contact are happy with everything for the event and are well informed about what is happening and who we are. We need to continue Studio 204’s good reputation and ensure that this does not drop.
A sponsorship is like a partnership between brands. It shows that one brand supports another. It is essentially like a deal between tow brands where they both get something out of it. It also creates a positive relationship between the two brands. For Launch Night I will be sourcing a sponsor and making a deal with them. I am ideally looking for a discount code or funding in return for a feature in our class Zine and a feature on the 204 social media.

A press release is news that a company sends out to inform the news outlets of something newsworthy or to send out an announcement to the public.










A target list is a list of relevant people who the press release should be sent out to. This list should contain contacts from relevant news outlets so that the press release can be sent out
