Garry Holloway began his career as a geologist, but it was his passion for a particular stone - the diamond - that saw him establish Precious Metals in 1976, which in 2007 became Holloway Diamonds.
Garry’s vision was an environment where award winning designers, highly skilled jewellery makers and diamond cutting experts could collaborate under one roof. His quest was to improve the cut quality of all diamonds so they could sparkle with ultimate fire and brilliance.

Decades of research culminated in the release of Garry’s patented ‘Holloway Cut Advisor’ program in 2000. This reference is now used the world over to grade billions of dollars worth of diamonds, and Garry is a respected consultant to leading diamond cutters.
