Victory Starts Here

“Varsity” is almost synonymous with bold stripes and color blocking, the styles we focused on when developing for The Sporting Collection. While stripes are timeless and add interest without being too flashy, color-blocking emphasizes contradiction, creating striking visuals. And to mix in that luxury Holland & Sherry look, we amped up the playfulness of our stripes and turned down the dissonance of our color-blocking, creating a collection that is lively and modern while also subdued and classic.

Team Up

When it comes to collegiate and the varsity spirit, the main through lines of that aesthetic are identifiers – the bold colors, intricate shields, or wild mascots to discern one side from another. Ironically, that strong sense of individuality and pride is what unites teams. Once that concept was established for our wallpaper collection, it was a matter of simplifying and subtracting those aesthetically harsher elements, and filling them in with refined, more sophisticated elements in order to achieve the Holland & Sherry look.
