Our Story
Holistic Tails was founded by Michelle and her dog Ruby Tuesday in Santa Cruz County. After adopting Ruby in 2008, Michelle struggled to find effective treatments for Ruby's sensitive skin and separation anxiety. In 2013, Ruby developed arthritis, prompting Michelle to explore CBD for pets. Disappointed by the lack of affordable, high-quality options, Michelle began working with certified labs and hemp farms in California and Colorado to create her own.
After three years of development, Holistic Tails launched a line of affordable, high-quality CBD products for dogs, cats, and horses, designed for everyday use.
