Come along to one of Scripture Union’s fun and empowering holiday camps! Campers are encouraged to step outside their comfort zones, form long lasting friendships and realise their potential. St John’s Schoolhouse Museum in the ACT Heritage Festival 2023

Theme: “SHARED STORIES”

• On 14th April, a Tree Planting by the Governor-General and children of the Parish will take place in the Church grounds. This will commemorate the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II (1952-2022)

• 25th April: Gunfire Breakfast in the church grounds, after the ANZAC Day Dawn service at the AWM. ANZAC Day tours of the Church and Churchyard will follow, to include afternoon teas.

• The Schoolhouse Museum will complement both events with displays featuring regal visits and our historic wartime connections.

• The popular “Torchlight Tours” of the Churchyard, conducted by June Penny, of Family History ACT, will also resume in 2023. They will be held on the 17th, 18th, & 19th April, with the traditional supper in the Schoolhouse Museum to follow.
