Day 2 - Sunday - The Remarkables Head up to the ‘Remarks’, mountain transfers will pick up the team for a day on the slopes, and in the afternoon you will regroup in Queenstown for après ski.

Day 3 - Monday - Cardrona Off to Cardrona for a day’s riding and skiing, followed by après ski in the famous Cardrona hotel with your hosts.

Day 4 - Tuesday - Coronet Peak Rise and shine to head to Coronet Peak, the closet ski resort in Queenstown. Tonight enjoy the Big Night Out, Queenstown Bar Crawl & hosted group dinner, exploring Queenstown by night.

Day 5 - Wednesday - Explore Queenstown, or take an extra day on the slopes!

Day 2 - Monday - The Remarkables Head up to the ‘Remarks’. Mountain transfers will pick up the team for a day on the slopes. Includes freestyle training with The Remarkables freestyle coaches. Afternoon après ski in Queenstown.

Day 3 - Tuesday - Cardrona Off to Cardrona for a day’s riding, with freestyle coaching by Cardrona performance trainers. Tonight enjoy the Big Night Out, Queenstown Bar Crawl & hosted group dinner, showcasing Queenstown by night.

Day 4 - Wednesday - Explore Queenstown, or take an extra day’s riding No riding on Wednesday unless you have arranged a Heliboarding or an additional day lift pass from your host. This is an epic day to soak up Queenstown, or team up to get into the adrenaline buzz: skydiving, bungy jump, dirt biking, 4wd quad tours, jet boating, can be all booked by your Ski Express host. Day 5 - Thursday - Cardrona or Treble Cone Early start back to Cardrona or Treble Cone, the choice is yours, Afternoon après ski in Queenstown.

How well do I have to ski to go Heli-skiing?

You push off and glide into exhilaration. Powder flies, adrenaline pumps and you soon become a tiny figure amongst the immense silence of the mountain world. At the bottom the helicopter awaits to lift you effortlessly to the top of another peak.

At lunchtime indulge in a gourmet picnic with an unbeatable view then it’s time to do it all again. This is Harris Mountains Heli-Skiing, the perfect escape from the everyday and the perfect way to recharge your senses.

Ideally you are a strong intermediate skier/boarder or better, with a sense of adventure. Harris Mountains Heli-Ski has exclusive access to extensive terrain including easy rolling terrain for powder first timers, wide open bowls and challenging chutes with steep valleys for the more experienced. How does the Heli-ski day work?

After an early morning weather check, we collect you from your accom & take you to the staging area. Start with a safety briefing covering avalanche transceivers, helicopter and mountain safety, before flying off to the first heli-ski run. All groups meet for a alpine buffet lunch with time to relax. The afternoon is back to the ultimate - more heli-ski runs.

Do I need powder skis?

No but the new wide body powder skis will assist you to ski even better, we can recommend a variety of hire equipment retailers.

How long are the runs?

Run length varies depending on the terrain and snow conditions. Our exclusive terrain offers runs that vary between 2000 and 2500 vertical feet of treeless skiing in sheltered basins, bowls and wide rolling mountain flanks through to steep and gnarly chutes.

Accident Excess Reduction: (AER) Purchase of AER cover reduces the excess to NIL for all categories. These daily amounts are non-refundable. Group B-F NZ$29.90 incl GST per day. Group H-M NZ$35.60 incl GST per day.

Security Bond: NZ$300 Note: All credit card transactions incur at 1.99% fee.

Important Note Re Accident Excess: If no credit card is presented then a cash deposit of NZ$300 is required plus the value of any optional extras purchased at the rental counter, plus the cost of any applicable one-way fees, airport fees, remote fees etc. ie ADE NZ$3,450, plus sundries & NZ$300 security bond OR NZ$29.90 x number of days of hire, plus sundries & NZ$300 security bond.

Driver’s Licence: A full valid licence, held for a min. of one year is the min. requirement. It must be written in English or accompanied by an International Driver’s Permit.

Travel Insurance

This brochure is valid for sale from Jan 16 for travel from Jun to Oct 16 unless otherwise stated. All details in this brochure reflect information available to Australia New Zealand Central Reservations Office Ltd (herein after referred to as ANZCRO) at the time of printing (Jan 2016).

ANZCRO reserves the right to amend any details without notice. Ask your Travel Agent to confirm details at the time of booking.

Must be booked and paid by 31 May 16 (Not combinable with bonus offers). *Excludes packages which must be paid by 31 March 16.

ANZCRO strongly recommends that you purchase a comprehensive travel insurance policy at the time of booking. Your Travel Agent will be able to advise and assist you with this. Cancellation fees charged by ANZCRO will not be waived under any circumstances, where travel insurance may have covered you.

Deposits

Prices are per person, multishare as stated and are subject to availability. Prices shown are for travel July & Aug 2016.

Surcharges or discounts may apply for travel at other times.

Please enquire for prices. Packages are valid for sales to 31 March 2016. Surcharges may apply for bookings 01 Apr onwards. Prices were correct at the time of print (Jan 16) but are subject to change without notice. Where an Ace Rentals vehicle is included please see page 42 for detailed vehicle hire conditions. Ski product included in packages is non-refundable. Ski conditions & season length vary from year to year. All packages containing vehicles have been priced including an airport pick up fee: Ace NZ$12. However this fee cannot be paid in Australia prior to departure. The Mt Hutt Family fun package (page 34) is based on 2 adults & 2 children (Age 1 - 10 years) travelling. Please enquire for more details.

A non-refundable deposit of $110 per person is required within 6 days of confirmation. This will guarantee your confirmed holiday price. Some activities/products have their own strict deposit regulations which you will be made aware of at the time of booking. Failure to pay the deposit within 6 days of confirmation will result in automatic cancellation of all travel arrangements.

Payments Full payment is due 30 days prior to departure. Bookings made within 30 days of intended travel are to be paid in full immediately upon confirmation. Certain special airfares may require payment immediately upon booking. In the event that ANZCRO agrees to the acceptance of Credit Card payments, they will be made available through special arrangement with the Travel Agent, ANZCRO reserves the right to charge a fee to the Credit Card Holder for this service.

Snow Season

ANZCRO reserves the right to charge a late booking fee of $33 to cover additional costs associated with bookings made within 10 days of travel.

Snow & ski conditions are entirely subject to natural weather conditions. ANZCRO does not take responsibility for snow & ski quality. Generally in New Zealand the ski season operates from mid-June to the end of September. ANZCRO takes no responsibility for the start and finish dates for skiing at any New Zealand ski fields.

Late Bookings

First time amendment is FREE. All additional amendments are liable to a maximum charge of $33 per amendment.

Once Travel Documents have been issued, all amendments will be charged. Airline tickets have additional amendment charges. Please ask your Travel Agent.

Note: If amendments are made, pricing for the full item will reflect the exchange rate valid at the time of the amendment.

Refunds ANZCRO: • Unused Car hire - NIL • Unused Accommodation/Sightseeing vouchers refunded at the sole discretion of ANZCRO Product & Service providers are unable to authorise any refund on ANZCRO behalf. Any refunds due cannot be processed until the relevant funds have been returned by suppliers to ANZCRO.

ANZCRO and its associated companies and their employees are not liable for: (a) Any event beyond their control, including (but not limited to) war, disturbances, fire, flood, unusually severe weather, act of God, act of government or other authorities, accident or failure of machinery or equipment, or industrial action (whether or not including ANZCRO employees), nor (b) Any act or omission whatsoever (whether within or outside its control) in relation to any booking, contract, travel, accommodation, excursion or other holiday services (including the carriage of baggage) which results in any direct, indirect or consequential loss, damage, death, injury, delay, liability, additional expenses or inconvenience. (c) ANZCRO does not own or operate any tour product or service listed in this brochure. ANZCRO is a tour wholesaler who arranges the provision of the products & services listed. ANZCRO does not take responsibility for the omission or failure of individual properties, plant or services detailed in this brochure.

A valid passport is required by all travellers to New Zealand.

Those not travelling on an Australian Passport may require a Visa. This is the travellers responsibility. Air Tickets and Travel Vouchers will be issued after full payment has been received by ANZCRO. Documents will be forwarded to the Travel Agent by standard mail. If Express Post or a Courier is required, a fee will be charged at ANZCRO’s discretion.
