PUSH AGAINST CANCER PUSH AGAINST CANCER

Since 2009, the annual Push Against Cancer fundraiser has provided extraordinary support to Camp – bringing hope and healing to children with serious illnesses and their families. And in 2022, the event celebrated a significant milestone – hitting a cumulative $1 million raised to benefit Hole in the Wall.

Each year, hundreds of supporters of all ages –and all abilities – gather at Staples High School in Westport, Conn. to test their strength and celebrate philanthropy as they see how many push-ups they can complete in 60 minutes. Some compete to hit a personal goal, while others participate to honor a loved one, but all keep charity at the forefront, raising thousands of dollars each year.

“Push Against Cancer has become a fundraising phenomenon that shows you the difference a community can make when it is united by passion and purpose,” said Hole in the Wall CEO Jimmy Canton. “Organizers Andy Berman and Sherry Jonas have built something that all of us at Camp are so incredibly proud of, and we were so honored to celebrate the extraordinary commitment of this caring community of friends that was responsible for Push Against Cancer crossing the $1 million milestone this year.”
