In this issue you will read about the excitement the new
facility is creating. You will also read about some of
the people who made that project possible. In addition,
you will be inspired by the commitment by alumni
and parents. In particular, this report highlights a
dynamic duo from the class of 1989, Fred Harbison
and Tracy McCoy Gillette. Fred has generously
volunteered his time for 26 years to lead Out Back
groups, including during this 50th anniversary year.
And Tracy’s contagious love for and commitment to
Holderness has inspired us to rename the Distinguished
Service Award in her honor. You will also read about
alumni and parents whose service leadership has
empowered little Holderness to dream big and follow
the closing line of our mission statement: “to work for
the betterment of humankind and God’s creation.”
