The Right Program for You Frank G. Zarb School of Business
The Zarb School is composed of the Departments of Accounting, Taxation, and Legal Studies in Business; Finance; Information Technology and Quantitative Methods; Management; Entrepreneurship and General Business; and Marketing and International Business.
There are also accelerated dual degree programs in a variety of disciplines: you can earn a Bachelor of Business Administration and either a Master of Science or a Master of Business Administration in just five years, saving as much as one semester to a full year of tuition. Zarb undergraduate students can also rely on high-quality, comprehensive career services from Hofstra University’s Career Center. Career counselors help students build strong resumes and secure valuable internships as well as jobs after graduation. Career Center services and resources include one-on-one appointments with career counselors, access to thousands of job and internship postings, career fairs, on-campus recruitment programs, career-related webshops, mock interviews, resume and cover letter writing, and online management of recommendation letters.
Internships are strongly encouraged by all departments within the Zarb School. Whatever your major area of concentration, there is an internship coordinator who can help identify the best opportunities for you. Internships can be taken on a credit or non-credit basis during the fall, spring and summer.
