Dear First-Year Students: Room Selection 2014 is quickly approaching! We wish to inform you of the procedures in place for this important process. With your help, we can make the room selection process as easy and convenient as possible for all of our students. To be eligible to receive a room assignment for the 2014-2015 academic year, you must: 1) Clear up any outstanding balances with the Office of Student Financial Services 2) Register full time for the fall 2014 semester 3) Pay a $300 housing deposit 4) Update your Student Housing Application Form online 5) Meet all other deadlines and eligibility requirements outlined on our website, hofstra.edu/reslife For planning purposes, we included some important dates you should remember. Homesteading (process to keep current living accommodations unless you have been notified by the Office of Residential Programs that your current space cannot be Homestead). During the Homesteading period an upper-class student may choose to pull you into their room; this would require you to select being “Pulled In� when updating your Housing Application).

First-Year student pre-registration for fall 2014 classes. Themed Living Community Selection (open to students who applied to be a member of a particular Themed Living Community in Nassau Hall). Deadline to submit $300 Housing Deposit to participate in the General Selection Process.
