Radio Ambulante: The Art and Soul of Storytelling in the Americas

Wednesday, November 11th, 2015 2:55 to 4:30pm Room: 100 Breslin Hall Hofstra University Featuring presentations by the Founders of Radio Ambulante: Daniel Alarc贸n, Executive Producer, whose books include War by Candlelight (2005) and Lost City Radio (2007), named a Best Novel of the Year by the San Francisco Chronicle and the Washington Post. His most recent novel, At Night We Walk in Circles, was a finalist for the 2014 PEN/Faulkner Award. He is a professor of Broadcast at the Columbia University School of Journalism in New York. Carolina Guerrero, Executive Director worked as a promoter for cultural and social projects, creating a bridge between organizations in three different continents. She has worked with public and private institutions in several countries, for which she has designed and overseen festivals, art exhibits, teaching workshops and fundraising events.
