Cultural Adaptations of Evidence Based Treatments Janine Jones, Ph.D., is a Professor and Director of the School Psychology Program at the University of Washington. Dr. Jones is a nationally recognized researcher, trainer, author, and lecturer whose research focus is on the application of culturally responsive interventions including art-based mindfulness in schools, cultivating resilience through ethnic identity and nature-based education as cultural immersion, and the impact of interventions on school engagement and sense of belonging in students of color in school.
