National Anthem sung by The Josephine Foundation Choir The Josephine Foundation is an organization, founded in 2002 and incorporated in 2004, to honor and remember Josephine Koslosky, a woman who believed that by using arts and sports programs, young people and adults can reach for their dreams regardless of their background and financial status. She considered all people equal and if allowed to chase their dreams, anything was possible when given the opportunity.

Alessandra Belloni e I Giullari di Piazza

Alessandra Belloni is the artistic director, founder and lead performer of I Giullari di Piazza, an Italian music, theatre and dance ensemble in New York City. She is the only woman in the U.S. and Italy who specializes in traditional southern Italian folk dances and percussion combined with singing that she learned in southern Italy.

Successful singer, actress and producer with more than 15 years of experience in television and theater. Simona worked on the RAI TV and on Mediaset networks. She also worked with leading Italian rock band I Pooh in national and international tours of Pinocchio the Great Musical. She produces children’s and family shows in America and Canada under the name “La Fata Italiana.”
