Description:
Written and directed by John Michael McDonagh, and starring Brendan Gleeson, the film explores the challenges of maintaining faith and spiritual leadership amid the malaise and disillusionment following the Catholic Church child sexual abuse scandal and the corrupt hedonism of the Celtic Tiger. Discussion facilitated by Professor Maureen Murphy.

Description:
Written and performed by Erin Layton, Magdalen is a one-person, award-winning play inspired by the true stories of the women and girls who passed through as unpaid, slave laborers in one of Ireland’s many Magdalene Laundries in the mid-twentieth century. Introduction by Professor Connie Roberts.
