The Undergraduate Tutorial Program will offer online tutoring appointments through Zoom for many of the courses we previously tutored one-on-one.

1. Log into My.Hofstra.Edu and click the Student Success Connect icon.

2. In Student Success Connect, set the term to the current semester, then click the Make an Appointment button.

3. Select Undergraduate Tutorial Program as the appointment type.

4. Select Course-based Tutoring as the service and click Next.

5. Select Undergraduate Tutorial Program under location.

6. Choose a Course (only your current registered courses will appear).

7. You may select a specific tutor under Staff Member or leave this blank if you have no preference and click Next.

8. If a tutor is available for your course, select an appointment time and click Next.

Note: You will only see available times for the next 7 days and must book appointments at least 48 hours in advance.

If you do not see an available time, select Request Appointment. A member of our staff will be in touch if one of our current tutors can assist you.

9. Review the Appointment Details and in the Comments box include your Hofstra Pride email and a phone number in case we need to reach you.

10. Select Send Me an Email and/or Send Me a Text to receive a reminder, and click Confirm Appointment.

11. Make sure you see the message below and check your Hofstra Pride email. Your tutor will email you a Zoom Meeting link for your appointment time. Sign into Zoom at Hofstra.zoom.us with your Hofstra username and password.

Students may cancel tutoring appointments through Student Success Connect.

1. Log into My.Hofstra.Edu and click the Student Success Connect icon 2. Find Upcoming Appointment on the right hand side of the screen 3. Click on appointment and in the next window click Cancel My Attendance 4. Select a Reason, add Comments, and click Mark as Cancelled We encourage you to cancel your appointment at least 24 hours in advance in case our tutors are able to schedule another student during that time.

If you forget to cancel your appointment and you do not sign into your Zoom Meeting within the first 10 minutes, our tutor will end the meeting and email you to ask that you reschedule. Please be considerate of our tutors, who are also students, and communicate if you are having difficulty accessing the online session.
