Study Abroad Options: Department of Geology, Environment, and Sustainability The following are study abroad programs that can be taken by Hofstra University students as part of their coursework for degrees in Geology, Environmental Resources, and Sustainability.

These programs are only suggestions – many other options exist.

Hofstra University - Evolutionary Ecology and Geology of the Galápagos Islands and Ecuador January X Session, offered every other year. Can be taken for three credits of BIO (110A) or GEOL (143) and will fulfill a major requirement in either subject area.

Semester at Sea (https://www.semesteratsea.org) – Courses vary from semester to semester, but include a variety of options that will fulfill HU degree requirements in humanities, social science, and natural science.
