A former scholar and the recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship, her appeared in numerous publications including VOGUE, the Times, TIME, the Wall Street Journal, O theOprah the LosAngeles Times.
will read from and discuss her latest memoir My LeftLeg, an account of how the experiences, disabilities of Frida Kahlo shaped Black’s understanding of amputee.
