Gordon is professor of philosophy and Africana studies, with affiliations in Asian and Asian American studies, Caribbean and Latino studies, and Judaic studies, at the University of Connecticut-Storrs. He is the author of several influential monographs, including his most recent book, What Fanon Said: A Philosophical Introduction to His Life and Thought. He is a co-editor of the book series Global Critical Caribbean Thought and participates in a variety of public forums, including Truth-out.org.
