Architectural rendering of state-of-the-art building for the Frank G. Zarb School of Business to be completed fall 2018.
Message From the Director Dear Prospective EMBA Student, Zarb’s Executive MBA program provides mid-level, highly motivated professionals from diverse industry backgrounds the opportunity to earn an EMBA in just 18 months. The program integrates a global mindset, with an international trip included for all students. Some recent visits include China, South Africa, Japan, India and Abu Dhabi. As director of our EMBA program since its inception close to 20 years ago, I am enormously proud of our graduates and their accomplishments. They continue to raise the bar in their respective careers as CEOs, health care leaders, managers, directors, and specialists across a wide span of industries. Many have leveraged their EMBA studies as a stepping stone to future success. To accommodate the personal and professional schedules of executives, our program has successfully evolved into a hybrid program where students meet on campus on alternating Saturdays, and the remaining course work is conducted online. This framework combines the best of an on-campus experience with the added convenience of online modules. We have recently added three state-of-the-art courses: Spreadsheet Modeling; Conflict, Collaboration and Negotiation; and Entrepreneurship and Innovation. I am also pleased to announce that the Zarb School is constructing a state-of-the-art, 50,000-square-foot building – equipped with a startup incubator and market research behavioral science lab – which is set to be completed in fall 2018. This new building includes faculty offices, collaborative study spaces and student lounge areas. It will be connected to C.V. Starr Hall, the Zarb School’s main classroom building and home to the Martin B. Greenberg Trading Room, one of the largest academic trading rooms in the nation, equipped with 34 Bloomberg Professional terminals. We at Zarb are committed to facilitating your continued success and will work hand in hand with you throughout and after you have completed your EMBA. I look forward to working with you as you take the next step in your professional career and personal development, and welcome you to the Zarb family! Sincerely,
Barry Berman, PhD EMBA Program Director Walter H. Bud Miller Distinguished Professor Professor of Marketing and International Business
