What We Do • Help commuters find their home at Hofstra!

• Support commuter students academically and socially.

• Advocate for our Commuter Pride.

• Engage students through a variety of social, educational, community service, and career development programs.

• Educate commuters about the services and resources available to them at Hofstra.

• Promote civic engagement through community service opportunities and resources.

• Assist students in learning how to live safely, successfully, and independently in the communities that surround the University.

Shake-A-Rake: Rake leaves for residents of the community.

Pride and Plant: Beautify the community by planting flowers and painting fences.

Fall Monthly Community Outreach Programs Students volunteer at local non-profit organizations!

Nursing Home Bowling Community Service

Mary Brennan INN Soup Kitchen:

• Bowling with senior citizens

• Sort through clothing donations • Stock the food pantry • Serve hot meal to those in need

Community Solidarity Food Share: • Distribute fresh produce, groceries, hot meals, clothing, and more!

Breakfast Run: • Sort through clothing donations • Prepare meal bags • Serve breakfast and distribute clothing to the homeless of NYC
