CMHP ANTI-RACISM MISSION STATEMENT The Counseling & Mental Health Professions Department affirms its commitment to recognizing, addressing, and eradicating all forms of racism. As counselor educators, clinicians, students, and staff, we commit to engaging and collaborating with campus and community stakeholders to challenge racial injustice and oppression in all arenas, including institutional racism and implicit bias. We actively strive to examine and confront racism, power, and privilege, and the impact they have on students, faculty, staff members, and our clients.
