HART (HOFSTRA ALUMNI RECRUITMENT TEAM) The spring semester has certainly been a busy one! HART members attended various college fairs across the country to help recruit students for Hofstra. In addition, calls were placed to congratulate accepted students through the annual Telecounseling campaign. HART members attended Admitted Students Days and the Spring Open House. If you would like to recruit students for Hofstra, the HART program is for you. Since HART members can recruit from almost anywhere in the world, you need not live close to campus to get the job done. Join the more than 800 volunteers who are actively guiding students to their alma mater.

Once again our Hofstra CAN! volunteers made a difference in students’ lives! Some volunteers hosted trips to New York City to allow students to get hands-on experience. Others attended “Resumania,” where they met more than 50 students and

reviewed their resumes. Hofstra CAN! volunteers also supported The Career Center’s Annual Job Fair and mentored students via e-mail and telephone. The Hofstra CAN! program is actively looking for alumni who are willing to spend time educating and assisting students with their career choices. Alumni can choose their level of involvement and are not obligated to find jobs for students. However, job and internship leads are always welcome. MENTOR STUDENTS TODAY TO GUIDE THEM THROUGH THEIR TOMORROWS.

PLEASE CALL (516) 463-6636 FOR MORE INFORMATION ON HART OR HOFSTRA CAN!
