Melanie Rainone Hofstra Class of 2016
“Before I visited Hofstra, I wasn’t quite sure what I was looking for in a college. Then I took part in the Up-Close program. I had the opportunity to go to a class with a student and listen to great discussions in a small classroom setting. I could picture myself sitting in a class like that someday. Being able to sit down and talk to someone that could give me a candid opinion of their school was so refreshing and really put my mind at ease. I had the chance to experience a day in the life of a Hofstra student, and that’s what made me realize that this was where I was meant to be.”
Note: Hofstra Up-Close visits are scheduled based upon Hofstra student availability and should be requested well in advance of your anticipated visit to campus. An Admission representative will contact you within two business days of your request.
