Alumni, Student, and Family Weekend
The Hofstra University Parent Council is holding its largest fundraiser, the Chance Auction, during Hofstra’s Fall Festival: Alumni, Student, and Family Weekend. More than 5,000 Hofstra students, family members, and alumni are expected to attend, and Chance Auction tickets will be sold on Friday and Saturday, October 1 and 2, 2021. The drawing will take place on Saturday, October 2. We are planning for a Virtual Chance Auction if public health guidelines restrict or prohibit on-campus events. We hope that you will help make this event a huge success. By donating an item, gift certificate, timeshare, or service to our Chance Auction, or by making a cash donation, you will enrich the Hofstra experience for thousands of students. Proceeds from the auction will be used to fund student and family programs such as the Student Emergency Assistance Fund. All donors will be recognized on the Chance Auction placard, which will be on display throughout the weekend, as well as on the Parent and Family Programs webpage. Please consult the donation form on the next page. The deadline for submitting donations is Friday, August 27, 2021. Donations of any size or value are greatly appreciated.
