HOFSTRA WELCOME WEEK 2016
Welcome to Hofstra University! As one of the newest members of the Hofstra family, you — and thousands of other students — now have access to campus resources, over 200 student clubs and organizations, and the many social, cultural and career opportunities of the New York metropolitan area. We have planned an exciting week filled with programs and activities that will help you get better acquainted with Hofstra’s campus and become an engaged and involved student. Please look through this program and plan your Welcome Week by selecting events that interest you. Be sure not to miss the “Pride” events. You must have your HofstraCard with you at all times. You will need it for identification, meal/snack purchases (if you have a dining plan), and entry into events and residence halls (if you live on campus). This week, sophomores, juniors and seniors will serve as your Welcome Week Leaders (WWLs). WWLs will assist you during move-in, help run programs and events, and lead discussions. Take time to get to know your leader and build friendships with your group members! And, most important, have fun!
